  • You get what you see

I like it so far. Good sound and fun to play with!

  • Replace the speaker
Color: Khaki
The speaker that's inside is a toy, you'll need to replace it with speaker that's at least 40 bucks. I replaced speaker, now my guitar sounds much better. It looks okay, good for pedals. If you can't replace an amp speaker, you may want look at something else , or get practice on speaker changing which comes in very handy down the line. ... show more

  • Incredible Powerful Quality & Finally an Affordable Amp That Stacks Up & Rocks Out!
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. I’ve used this Leo Jaymz 20w amp now for the last couple of weeks and am impressed by both the quality and the Leo Jaymz customer service. This 20w amp is paired with a stable powerful clear speaker and built in 3 prong grounded power cord. It has 3 standard tone eq for bass mids & treble. It has gain but also features a separate gain boost for that extra little crunch. Whether using at practice levels or turned up to 10, the output is clean it’s powerful and it’s clear!. I have two similarly sized amps in my studio and the Leo Jaymz amp stacks up right beside them in both build and tone quality. There’s also a headphone 1/4 jack for silent practice. The best part is this guitar amplifier comes in at just half the cost of my other 20w mainstream amps without sacrificing power quality or support from Leo Jaymz. I’ve found myself taking this with me to practices and leaving my fender at home with the Leo Jaymz having become my primary practice session and daily go to amp. Wether you want to practice or throw this amp up on the stage and jam, it’s got the power the quality and volume to rattle windows or save others ears while you benefit from the quality sound it produces. I couldn’t be happier with it and have been and remain beyond satisfied! and equally impressed! ... show more

  • A surprisingly solid little practice amp
Color: Black
This is a surprisingly capable little amp for practice and casual playing. At 20 watts, it has more than enough volume for a bedroom, practice room, or small jam session without shaking the windows or alarming the neighbors. The clean channel sounds clear and balanced, which works well for practice and for pedals if you use them. The distortion channel adds some grit and is fun for rock or heavier practice sessions. It’s not going to replace a giant stage amp, but it definitely delivers enough bite to make practice more interesting. The 3-band EQ (bass, mid, treble) is a nice feature and gives you decent control over the tone. You can dial in a warmer sound for rhythm playing or brighten things up for lead work. It’s simple but effective. The headphone input is a big plus for late-night practice when the rest of the household would prefer not to hear your version of “Smoke on the Water” for the 400th time. There’s also a line input, which makes it easy to play along with backing tracks or music from a phone. Physically, the amp is compact and easy to move around, and the built-in handle makes it convenient to carry. It feels sturdy enough for regular practice use. Overall, this is a solid little practice amp that offers good tone options, useful features, and enough power for everyday playing without taking up much space. A nice choice for beginners or anyone who wants a simple, reliable practice setup. ... show more

  • Surprisingly good for cleans; don't look to it for dirt
Color: Black
I'm really impressed by how good the clean sound is on this for such a small amp. I'd never look to a tiny practice amp for its distortion tone, but I was curious how it'd do: not very well. The distortion is tinny and underwhelming. However, using pedals still results in a harsh, tinny sound without some serious tone-sculpting, and even then, the result is far from great. So this is definitely not the one to go to for heavy sounds. Yet the cleans are so good sounding that I'm still giving this four stars, because I had low expectations in general, and the cleans are really, really good. Adding chorus makes it even better, so if you're doing that sort of thing, this amp is surprisingly good. Clean, bright, or maybe even jazz tones would work well. Anything with drive will need an EQ, or at the very least rolling back on a tone knob and a lot of luck. ... show more

  • OK starter amp w/ limitations.Distorts. Arrived front pushed in. Contacted company & no replies.
Color: Black
This is a review for Leo Jaymz SG-20 20W Electric Guitar Amplifier with Handle - Clean and Distortion Channel - 3 Band Equalization and Phones Line Input - Recording Studio, Practice Room, Small Courtyard. This little 20W amp is functional for really just beginners or as a really super basic practice box, but it has clear limits if you’re more particular about tone and with no distortion. The clean channel is usable at lower volumes, yet it can start to sound a bit thin or boxy when you push it. The distortion channel gives you some grit for rock practice, but it lacks the depth and clarity you’d expect from a higher‑end amp and can get fizzy if you turn the gain up too far. The 3‑band EQ and headphone jack are nice to have and make it more flexible for quiet practice or small spaces if you don't expect much. Overall, it works and will get the job done for somewhat simplistic home use, but players who are picky about sound quality may find themselves wanting to upgrade fairly quickly. The product arrived somewhat broken in that the front fabric grill was pushed completely into the inside and is only held in place by some sharp pointed screws. It was disappointing to have to fix a brand-new item, and the shipping box was not damaged in any way. I tried to contact the company Customer Service but there was never a response about the item's problems even after 2 attempts. It is what it is, but I cannot, unfortunately, recommend this product in any way. Not a good value for the money nor is it easy to use to get a sound out of it that sounds decent for my ears. Sorry. Not for me. ... show more
