I bought this amp to play guitar through it rather than a bass. l am very happy with it. It has more than enough volume for a practice amp and would probably do well in small gigs. It's small enough to fit easily in the back seat of your car and not so heavy that it would cause a backache. Although I'm not a bass player I do own a couple of bass guitars and this amp handles the lower notes without buzzing or speaker rattles. If you're looking for a decent practice amp for bass or guitar this amp will get the job done and l don't think you'll find a better amp in this price range. l use a reverb pedal with it and it sounds amazing! ... show more

It has a great sound -- the tone is nice and it sounds great when using my Big Muff pedal and my compressor pedal. If I don't want to bother anyone, I can just plug in my headphones. I needed a replacement amp, the one I had bought in Japan unfortunately didn’t work in the US (different voltages). I wanted something cheap but also reliable, and Fender is a well known brand. It works perfectly! The sound is clear and the amp itself is light! I think it’s mostly meant for at home practice which isn’t an issue for me, since I just play for fun. It’s a decent size too. I needed a compact amp at home to practice material for church and local gatherings, and this Fender Rumble is exactly what I've been looking for. The Pros: •Perfect Volume for Home: Just enough punch for a bedroom or office without being too disruptive. •Silent Practice: The headphone jack is fantastic for practicing without waking up the house. •Extremely Portable: The amp is really lightweight, so you can easily pick it up and move it around or load it in the backseat of your car. The Cons: •No Bluetooth: Having to use a physical cable for the "Aux In" feels a bit dated for modern gear. This type of amp should have built-in Bluetooth capabilities. •Not for Gigs: At 15 Watts, it will immediately get drowned out by a live drummer or loud guitars. This is an amp that is strictly for solo practice. Bottom line? It's a reliable, bare-bones practice amp. I bought this 15 watt because I couldn’t get my wife to spring for the 25 watt. I couldn’t have been more pleased that I did. The sound from this little guy is unbelievable.
