    • I've tried a lot of blades, these are by far the very best

I've tried about 10-12 different brand and types of blades for cutting nails on pallets (I disassemble them for craft work and farm use) and this brand in various sizes was far, far, way far better than any other, including a couple blades with carbide tips welded onto the blade tips. In my use, disassembling pallets, I find use for the 6", 9" and sometimes 12" but if I had to pick one size, it'd be the 9" blade. The nails on many pallets are hardened steel, to stand up to air hammers applying them into oak, and that is why typical blades get worn down to nubs after 5-10 nails. Carbide tipped blades lasted maybe 10-15 nails, but teeth were knocked off. One of these Lennox Titanium edge blades has gone thru over 30 nails and it's still has all it's teeth and they're not worn down. This review of reciprocating blades gives a helpful chart at the end. Nice blade for all around use, keeping this product in mostly wood/plastic related work seeing as I have other blades that can be used for metal. They all wear out over time but this blade seems to be the most long lived compared to those of a cheaper variety.
