I am absolutely in love with this Lenox Studio 1414 dinnerware set. From the moment the box arrived, I could tell this was going to be something special. First, the packaging is incredible. Everything arrived beautifully and securely packed, which immediately gave the impression of a premium product. Each piece was protected so well that opening the box honestly felt like unwrapping something luxurious. And I did indeed unwrap something luxurious! The design itself is simply STUNNING. Simple, elegant, and it's the perfect shade of bone china white—clean, classic, and elegant without looking sterile or overly stark. It has that subtle warmth that makes a table setting look refined and inviting. When the plates are set on the table, they immediately catch my eye. They are a classic, simplistic, elegant, and sophisticated dinnerware that honestly feels so timeless, I don't see it losing its charm any time soon or with regular (and maybe sometimes even rigorous) usage. One thing I really appreciate is the size and proportions of the pieces. The plates are a fantastic size—generous enough for a beautiful presentation but still very practical for everyday meals. The bowls are especially great. They are deep and wide, which means they can hold a good portion of soup, pasta, grain bowls, or salads without feeling cramped. Even though the pieces feel elegant and delicate, they’re pretty lightweight and sturdy, which makes them very comfortable to handle. They have that wonderful bone china quality where they feel refined but not fragile. Another huge advantage is the practicality. Knowing that these are dishwasher safe and microwave safe makes them so much easier to use regularly. A lot of beautiful dinnerware feels too delicate to actually enjoy every day, but this set strikes a perfect balance between luxury and usability. I have a set of Lenox Christmas dinnerware and I love it. My everyday dinnerware is Fiesta ware and I also love it. I didn't think that Lenox would be a good choice for everyday use but these simple white modern dishes are beautiful. They are also dishwasher and microwave safe, and they don't get as hot in the microwave as the Fiesta ware. If I hadn't just gotten a bunch of new Fiesta ware I may have switched over to these dishes. I love that there is a wide rim on the plates because the plate is normal size but the surface on which you can put the food is smaller which helps prevent over eating. The wide rim on the bowl works nicely as a handle. Because they are bone china, they are extremely durable. Also, food looks great against the stark white plate. Overall, these are great and I will buy them some day.

This studio dinnerware set is perfect for starting out on your own. My daughter has been using it in her new apartment and absolutely love it. The dishes are excellent quality and the finish in these is absolutely beautiful. They are dishwasher and microwave safe, making them perfect for someone who doesn’t like to cook and clean. They also don’t get overly heated when using in the microwave. They are thick enough to feel really durable while not being overly heavy. Overall I think this set is an incredible value and I expect it to last a very long time.

I love these plates and bowls. They have a plain utilitarian look, but they are not boring. They look like something you'd see used in an upscale cafe. The dinner plates are not the massive platters some sets include. They are the perfect size for a nicely portioned meal. Each piece is labeled as bone china if that's important to you. I like the set enough to buy the remaining pieces in the series.

There is elegance in simplicity and this set embodies that so well. It’s a 12 piece set consisting of 4 dinner plates, 4 accent plates, and 4 bowls. I know we aren’t supposed to review on packaging but I think that is for Amazon packaging. I hope so because the way the Lenox company packaged this set was great! There are four boxes inside the main box. Two of the boxes contained 2 dinner plates and two accent plates. They were nestled in snugly between sheets of cardboard but not so tightly as to risk breaking them. The bowls were also boxed in twos with cardboard between them. Shaped cardboard pieces held the boxes in firmly. There wasn’t a bit of styrofoam used in any of it. The dishes themselves are so lovely. They are so simple and yet so elegant. They are pure white and the plates are all rimmed. The bowls are magnificent! They’re quite deep and have wide rims. I’ve never seen anything like them and couldn’t love them more. This set is made of bone china. Doesn’t that sound fancy? It feels fancy! While bone china is supposed to be more endurable than standard china and this set says it is dishwasher and microwave safe, I would be hesitant to use it in either. Not that I doubt the durability of this product, I just want to take no chances with this lovely set.
