I'm very happy with what I got for less than $700. Pretty respectable specs, extremely light. It's a great daily driver to do all my email, word processing, messing around with YouTube, etc... I haven't tried dev with it yet, but it might even be good enough for lightweight development. One thing I would improve is the mouse pad, although the mouse pad imo hasn't been good on laptops since the very first IBM Think Pad from the mid 1990's which had a little joystick for a mouse, so you could mouse and type at the same time. I've never seen a mouse pad be very accurate and they're always cumbersome to use. Since Lenovo bought the Think Pad brand, maybe they could dig that tech up and do a reboot. ... show more

I like the performance. It’s super light weight. The monitor is good but not great. I didn’t get the right power connector. The website said it was a round connector. I got a usb-c. Overall good computer for the money.

Our son had been saving up his money for a while to purchase a laptop that he could game and do some graphic design. The specs on this thing are incredible for the price and he has absolutely loved it so far. It’s been able to easily handle all the games he’s played on it. Amazing value

I ordered the laptop and it seemed like it was doing well. A few minor things I didn't really like much but nothing extreme. Then it started malfunctioning. I sent it in to Lenovo who told me there was water damage (what? It was nowhere near water, but ok...) and it costed over $400 to fix. I thought they were the ones with the year long accidental protection warranty which was the whole reason I bought this particular laptop. It offered a one year accident protection warranty. Once Lenovo told me the damage was not covered by them and that it was the seller who was responsible for that guarantee, I messaged the seller. Repeatedly. I got nothing. Not even a reply. So, while the laptop is acceptable, you shouldn't buy it from this seller. They don't honor they're warranty or even contact you back. So now I'm out $700 for a laptop I desperately need, no way to replace it, and no money to fix it. I'll be watching out for products from this seller to avoid from now on! ... show more

    • Good computer, but Lenovo has to catch up with USB C charging
The computer itself worked very well and was fast. I started migrating files from my first computer to this one, left, then came back later to pick up work. The computer was off, and it wouldn't power up. I went into troubleshooting the cord, performing a power drain, nothing. I even purchased a compatible round charger, and it wouldn't charge. I looked into it and Lenovo is infamous for faulty USB ports, and the whole "dual purpose" USB C ports that do data AND charge run the risk of frying the computer. I fear that this is what happened with this model. I would use the conventional charging port and NOT the USB C port to charge the unit. ... show more
