I have always liked Thinkpads. This refurbed unit was a very pleasant surprise for me recently and I love to work on them, more memory, storage or both, and this little laptop will be a fun project as well as a useful tool. It is snappy and was remarkably easy to set up and to update to Windows 11 Pro. It seems to be covered in some sort of a black rubberoid sheeting which covers the flat surfaces of the device, smoothing out blemishes, if any, on the case.
