I just received this wooden pressing tool and haven't had a chance to test it yet. It appears to be a quality tool. The wood is very smooth and the size is great. It is a simple tool that will be great for bag making, especially working with vinyl or similar fabrics that may not be suited for ironing. I am sure I will be able to utilize this for many sewing projects. I am pleased with the quality of this product and believe the price is fair.

Really is a lovely tool. Very well crafted from beautiful wood. Feels good in my hand. I am making a kawandi quilt & needed something that made pressing the seams down easy to do. It works great! (I hate ironing). This is a perfect tool for fiber artists and I think would be good for paper people also! (I have 2 bone folders - one is actually bone, but the newer one is plastic! Yuck!) Natural materials are always a superior choice, in my opinion. Looks like Savina has a range of products, will be ordering again!

If you like pretty things in your sewing room, you won't be disappointed in this tool. Works well, but not as good as a hot iron. Just as good as finger pressing, but no substitute for an iron. Good while you are piecing if you don't want to iron as you go.

I cannot remember a sewing tool like this, where I held it in my hand and thought wow. It’s made of really nice wood, sanded smooth and finished to perfection. This tool will last a lifetime!
