I bought one of these to add to my group of home PCs. (8 now and counting). I was very pleased with it's performance, considering she's an old girl, she still rocks. The reviews you will read here complain that it boots slow or is sluggish are not taking into account that it has a mechanical hard drive and are used to SSDs. Also when first turned on, it starts the setup process which is always slow when dealing with Windows. First things first, I received this FedEx standard next day air, which was a shocker. Opening the box was nice as it was well packed. Even if it had dropped off of the truck, it would have survived quite nicely. The reviewer that stated "the best packing I'd ever seen" was not joking. All the things listed in the description were there. Computer, keyboard (wired), Mouse (wired), OEM power supply and WiFi dongle. It turned on and started the setup process which is quite slow, but Windows setup is always slow. Setup was easy and didn't take too long once it's running. As always, it's best to install updates (if any) and reboot several times before it starts to perform well. Because it comes with a mechanical HD, startup time and app loading time doesn't do it justice. Running a CPU intensive program, I found it faster than expected and runs very nicely for it's size. It doesn't come with an HDMI port, so a DisplayPort to HDMI adaptor is a must, but I got one for $8.99 on Amazon, so no biggie. There are just enough USB ports for connecting the mouse, keyboard and WiFi dongle, then there are 2 USB 3 ports on the front for other things. It has indicators on the front for on/off, HD activity, Bluetooth and WiFi which is nice. The 500GB HD is enough room for the casual user, but to get the most out of it, an SSD drive is a must and a memory upgrade to at least 8 GB. One feature I really like is the ability to turn the computer on with ALT-P. That makes hiding it a viable option. Conclusion: This is a really nice PC with enough power to do most things without much trouble. It is NOT for gaming, so if you plan on playing anything more graphics intensive than say Tetris, look for something with a little more upgrading ability.

This is a nice little machine to use for either light computing or as a home server for various tasks. The 4GB of RAM is very difficult with work with, and you'll probably want to pop in at least 8GB. I was hoping to be able to just pop in one additional 4GB SODIMM, but unfortunately my M73 came with two 2GB sticks, so I had to buy an 8GB module, bringing it to 10GB. Also, despite being a 7200 RPM drive drive, disk I/O also feels sluggish. It could still use an upgrade to an SSD, which would probably make it relatively zippy. I'm fine with repurposing and reusing things, so this being a renewed device didn't bother me. That being said, it was missing some of the screws, both inside and out. The power button on my unit is not the most responsive. The AC power adapter is also not the factory one, so I don't know about the reliability and efficiency compared to the original. I didn't expect a mouse and keyboard with it, but they're usable. It was all packaged very nicely and safely for shipping. The fact that it came with a warranty is surprisingly welcome. All in all, I got what I paid for, and it's serving that purpose nicely.

This is the second renewed Lenovo computer that I have purchased from this seller, and I was not disappointed! I absolutely love the small size and it sits on top of my desk. This little gem had just enough ports for what I need. This computer is not built for gaming, but since I don't anyway, it didn't matter. It is fast enough for me, extremely quiet and boots up quickly. The set-up was super easy and straight forward. The Wi-Fi connected flawlessly as well. The installed programs are great as well, and I didn't feel that I needed to purchase any separate software. The best part was the price! I am very happy with this purchase.

Fantastic device, but came with no screws holding hard drive caddy in place, otherwise I'd have given it five stars. So, being the kind of guy I am, I voided the warranty, opened it up, attached the hard drive, added another stick of ram and installed Linux Mint. Runs like a dream now.

Positives: *The Intel efficient "T" CPU is nice and hard to find * Efficient form factor of case is a work of art. * Price @ $110 ~doable. * Packaging was excellent protection. Best I've ever seen. * Windows 10 included (No disk however). Negatives: * Exterior Power Adapter not Lenovo OEM (old used "skuffed-up 3rd party crap). Unsafe. Not 89% efficient as original. Why buy a power efficient "T" CPU and power it w/"renewed" inefficient piece of crap? Add $56. * Two- 2GB SODIMM RAM chips insufficient for WIndows 10. Maybe 7 but not 10. If running Linux fine but you loose 10. Add another $40 for two-4GB Ram sticks. * No room for 2d SSD drive. Seagate 500GB Hard Drive insufficient and must replace. Add $50 For SSD. * Provided external wireless dongle sacrifices lone USB 3.0 port. Forget local external storage w/o mini-hub. Summary: You'll have to "RENEW" this old girl some more (like $150) to get her in shape.
