  • Great PC with incredible potential!!
Pros: Awesome PC!! Highly recommend this product. I purchased 4 of these. 2 of them are for minor gaming and the other two for work related functions. This item was originally a $3,300 machine when it came out. It has (8) ram slots to support 16 gig sticks each with a potential total of 128 gigs of RAM. I currently have (2) 16 gig sticks for a total of 32 gigs. The Xenon Quad processor is crazy fast. Cons: It comes with a 630w power supply. Optimally I would prefer a 850w power supply that could support a large graphics card. Example: R9 390x with 8 gigs. On that note the NVIDIA 630 graphics card is lacking a lot of GPU performance at best. Totally must replace ASAP! The unit will easily support any GPU that need only (1) 6 pin connector. Example: Powercolor HD7850 2 gigs is a good choice with decent performance. Any other (1) 6 pin (1) 8 pin GPU will need a power supply upgrade. 750w Corsair PSU will work fine for the upgrade and still be able to close the case. Note: the larger GPUs may not allow the case to be closed. Example: R9 290x will allow the case to close, very snug. Sapphire R9 390x case is not closing. Open air case at that point. ... show more

  • Great specs for the price and lots of room to grow
I bought this as a replacement home theater PC (HTPC) after my Dell OptiPlex 790 started showing signs of old age. This Lenovo is pretty well equipped as-is, and also has good bones for upgrades (good power supply, plenty of room inside the case, excellent airflow, lots of memory slots, and memory is cheap on the used market.) The graphics card that came with this Lenovo could run 4k resolution at times, but it got choppy and froze up with some sources so I would only recommend it to run @ 1080. It's not going to hold up to graphics-intense gaming but if you are a serious gamer you already know that. After purchase I upgraded to a GeForce 1070 Ti card. The stock power supply can handle it fine--no upgrade needed (which is not usually the case with cheaper computers.) All I had to do was spend $4 on a 6-pin to 8-pin adapter for the second power hookup. I also had to take the wire cutters and trim away some of the plastic bracket for the PCI cards but that was not difficult and everything fits now. I ran FurMark at 4k resolution for 20+ minutes and it had no problems and stayed cool. The case is very spacious and well ventilated so I don't foresee any heat management issues. ... show more

  • Well worth the money
This used machine looked like new inside and out. For the money this was a great deal. Very fast. Support was helpful too.

  • Bad quality, lots of problems
Very disappointed. Within a few weeks of using it, the PC went into endless reboot loops. I eventually found a solution online. After about three months of use, it would give me the "blue screen of death" when I plugged a USB microphone. Finally, after about 4-5 months of use, it would start, but there was no display. Again, I found a troubleshoot online (remove CMOS battery). This PC is riddled with problems and glitches. After about 4-5 months of use, I need to get a new one because it's simply not reliable. ... show more

  • Nice system. Needs a better video card.
I guess the video card needs to be upgraded to play modern games. I used this graphics card and it worked flawlessly and my son says it handles all games now. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0899TDHRC?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
