  • Device itself is great. The issue is range on the connected controllers
I really love this attachment. It makes the LeGo even more versatile. I love docking my Lego to a TV and have no a traditional console like experience and this helps to enable that. One drawback, and this is more a critique of the controllers themselves, not this device, but the range from the LeGo for the controllers is disappointingly short. We are talking 5ft ish. At around 8 ft I get frequent disconnects so keep on depending on how you want to utilize this. The additional battery it adds to the controllers is so much I literally don’t even worry about and don’t have to charge it for quite a long time. ... show more

  • Console Liked Experience
This is the best way to have a long lasting console like experience with your Legion Go. Easy to use and set up. And it keeps the controllers charged.

  • The ultimate endgame for battery tethered gameplay
I was lucky to get this unit in, before stocks ran out again. This is basically the Nintendo switch version of a Joycon grip holder, for the Legion go. Except, this has a built in battery, along with a usb c port for wired charging. Now, I'm going to make a disclaimer first. I haven't tested this out throughly enough to make a final judgment. So, therefore take this review with a grain of salt. The build quality of this grip holder is solid, durable, built like it should be for its price point 😬 So, yeah I'm surprised that third-party companies haven't come up with their alternatives yet. Besides, just a charging grip. At this price point, you're getting the grip itself, the packaging for it, and a charging cable. As far as run time for the battery, that is dependent on how long your gaming sessions last. Like I said, I haven't throughly tested this product enough, to get a gauge on usability. For now, I would wait, until other companies come up with their own solution. Unless, you just want a charging grip itself, without the battery. Besides, at the time of writing this review, these are temporarily out of stock. ... show more

  • Improved on the existing controllers.
It works very well... a game changer that turns the individual controls into a solid console controller with the added benefit of its own battery.

  • Feels Premium. Shortsighted always-on status lights
Feels premium, and legit (not like another 3D printed accessories). However, if the controllers are attached to it, the status lights will always be on and remain on until you detach the controllers.

  • Pretty good maybe a bug tho
Idk if it's just my LeGo , but sometimes the left controller will blink like it's disconnected but it still works fine just looks a lil bugged out . Does what it's supposed to do , I like it .

  • Does not "turn off" LED will always stay on.
Just giving a heads up to potential buyers of this controller adapter, there is no off button, or idle auto shutoff for this. If your controllers are attached, it will always discharge and attempt to charge your controllers. This may seem fine, but that also means the LED on the front of the adapter will always be lit, and it's BRIGHT, and it will also be discharging. So after a night of gaming, or using it, just setting it down on the table or desk it will stay "on". You must disconnect the adapter from the controllers or it will just keep charging away. Which also raises the question of overcharging and degrading the battery on the controllers. It may not seem like a big deal at first, but it is pretty annoying to either A) deal with this light ALWAYS on sucking away battery or B) have to detach every time you are done. But everyone has their own preference if this is ok for them or not. ... show more
