The first Chromebook they sent was defective. As quick as you'd like they replaced it. Took the original to the Market and dropped it off and the new one came in a few days. It works perfectly. Yeah. It's from 2016, but it does all I need it for. Battery seems to last, though I've never used it so long I had to stop to charge. It isn't scratched up or abused, but it's not new either. It just works well. On thing. The screen is small, and the edges take up space leaving less real estate for the content. It's better than a phone or small tablet, but a laptop it ain't. I love that the screen is touch, so I can type on keyboard and just use finger to go back or scroll or correct. My old tablet with keyboard couldn't do that. Great value. I was a little funny about my computer at first but I only had it to charge it one time since I received it very good battery it comes with a stylus that is tucked away on the bottom of it it's touch screen and it's 360° great for taking notes I am very satisfied with this computer I'm glad I purchased it's very durable it has a protective bumper one of the reasons I purchased it it can handle a few drops you would think it's heavy but it's not you can take it anywhere perfect weight and size perfect if you're at home or you need to take it with you ... show more

I ordered one refurbished and it’s working fine and decided to get my mom one. The second one has failed completely by never even starting so I reach out and get a replacement but the replacement has completely blacked out on me after failing two cpu tests!!!!

I have 2 already and just order a 3rd. My second Chromebook did not come with the stylus/pen and the seller quickly shipped me the stylus/pen. This is a great Chromebook for all our basic needs. I use mine on flights to get some work done. I really like the tent/tablet mode for watching videos. Some of my favorite apps are also available on this Chromebook. The seller is very good to work with and I just ordered one more for my daughter. The quality is what you would expect for a used educational edition Chromebook. Some buyers expect that theirs will be flawless. So far on all of mine the screen has been scratch free. Once I get them I clean them really well and even put a coat of armor all on the housing to shine it back up. Both of the Chromebooks I have received have been in excellent condition and fully functional. These things have 4gb of ram and a roughly 2.5ghz quad core processor, so apps run very smooth. Video quality is great, but I'm not sure what resolution the screen is. I recommend the 500e to anyone looking for a cheap Chromebook suitable for browsing, watching videos, and playing the occasional games. ... show more

The laptop arrived quickly and in great shape, with no scratches or dings or anything. Even better is that the battery itself is holding a charge even better than I hoped for a renewed cheap Chromebook like this. Setup was easy and quick, and it's a zippy, lightweight book. The keyboard is responsive and not mushy in places like a different Chromebook I have, and the touchscreen works well. Even though it has reached the end of the Google updates it still has years left in it, which makes it a good value for sure. On a side note the sellers forgot to ship the stylus with it, but as soon as I contacted them about it they were on it and shipped a new one the very next day which was awesome. ... show more

Not bad for a refurbished product. Arrived fairly quick and well packaged. Feels new but does have some scuffs, touch screen is fair. "Volume - " key doesn't work but since it's a touch screen I'm able to adjust it down when needed. Would've gave it 5 stars if volume key worked and bought another one for my daughter but... It's is what it is :) ... show more
