The first Chromebook they sent was defective. As quick as you'd like they replaced it. Took the original to the Market and dropped it off and the new one came in a few days. It works perfectly. Yeah. It's from 2016, but it does all I need it for. Battery seems to last, though I've never used it so long I had to stop to charge. It isn't scratched up or abused, but it's not new either. It just works well. On thing. The screen is small, and the edges take up space leaving less real estate for the content. It's better than a phone or small tablet, but a laptop it ain't. I love that the screen is touch, so I can type on keyboard and just use finger to go back or scroll or correct. My old tablet with keyboard couldn't do that. Great value. I have ordered 3 of these. The first one I ordered looked in very good condition, and worked well but stopped working after about a month, and due to a problem with my Amazon account I can no longer access it to make a return (have to use husband's account now). I then ordered 2 more, and when they came I realized that my 1st order hadn't even been the correct item! Only 1 of the 3 was actually a 2nd gen!!! These last 2 came in pretty bad physical condition. I bought it renewed in excellent condition, which should be close to new looking. Faaaaaar from it! I'm keeping the one that is actually the correct product, because (so far) it's working correctly. I'm putting a case over it, so the scratches all over won't be a big deal. What IS a big deal is the other one that came. Not only was it not a 2nd generation, as ordered, and it was extremely worn and scratched all over (even the keys had heavy wear) but it is even CRACKED on one corner, and the glass screen is popping out on that corner, too! This company is doing a terrible job, and I'm returning the worst of the last 2 as soon as I can. I'm hesitant to ask for a replacement because who knows what I'll receive this time. My expectations aren't as high as most. All I wanted was for them to be the correct item, not look like they've been thrown on concrete over and over, and work properly. I got this as a backup computer since my main is an all in one, so if anything happens to that I'd be left with no computer otherwise. The laptop arrived in pretty good shape. It took a bit to get the keyboard working, but it seems to be fine. I've been testing it a bit and so far it seems to be working fine. If anything, it's just missing the stylus, but I can always order a cheap stylus to use with it. I haven't tried the tablet mode yet, it honestly feels like I might break it if I try to flip the screen around. It's a renewed chromebook, I'm not expecting a lot from it. The laptop arrived quickly and in great shape, with no scratches or dings or anything. Even better is that the battery itself is holding a charge even better than I hoped for a renewed cheap Chromebook like this. Setup was easy and quick, and it's a zippy, lightweight book. The keyboard is responsive and not mushy in places like a different Chromebook I have, and the touchscreen works well. Even though it has reached the end of the Google updates it still has years left in it, which makes it a good value for sure. On a side note the sellers forgot to ship the stylus with it, but as soon as I contacted them about it they were on it and shipped a new one the very next day which was awesome. ... show more

Arrived in great condition, and great customer service. I guess I was in such a hurry to use it I immediately lost the charger. I didn’t notice for about a week. I contacted the seller and they are sending another charger. Then I found the it in the other room. I feel like such an idiot.

This Lenovo Chromebook I purchased from Amazon is the second refurbished laptop. The first one is Acer. It does not have a touchscreen but is in excellent condition. It is solid, like new solid, and works great with long battery life. I need another Chromebook with a touch screen two in one, which is more convenient for reading PDF files. I have had an excellent experience with the first renewed laptop. I want to give this Lenovo Chromebook a try. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed to receive this product. The body of this notebook was critically damaged, with a significant big crack at the left corner near the hinge, scratches at the edges, and the plastic sheet used to conceal the damaged body resulted in "pop-ups" at the bottom and the edge of the device, which made the Chromebook look unappealing. Other than the body of the laptop. The screen is functioning well with no dead spots or scratches, and the power indicator shows the battery life is around 7 hours. ... show more
