  • Can be the perfect laptop depending on your needs
Style: Computer
A fantastic notebook to be carried in a backpack and used in an educational context, whether university or school. It is also perfect to be carried on trips and in situations with some level of impact, as it is light, small and very resistant. Its central concept is not performance, but mobility, durability and versatility, so I would recommend it to people who are looking for a product with these characteristics. For that price, it is an excellent computer. If you want a computer with 4GHz processing and 16Gb of RAM, this computer is simply not for you, so I don't think it's fair to criticize the computer for having modest specifications, because what you pay for is what you get. It would only be better if it were more Linux-friendly, since the performance of this computer with Linux is much better than the performance with Windows. When it gets better hardware support from Linux, it will be the perfect "awesome little linux machine". ... show more

  • A Very Solid and Capable Laptop PC
Style: Computer
The description of this PC says its intended for the rough and tumble school student usage. As such it is stated that it is physically tough enough to withstand probable school child abuse of dropping, spilling, etc. It certainly feels that way to me. It feels very solid and probably a little thicker and heavier than a more premium 11.6 inch 2 and 1 laptop. The AMD CPU is roughly of the same performance as competing Intel Celeron CPU's like the J4120 or 4125 .. which is good for a low end PC for any routine usage of web browsing, video watching, documents, spreadsheets and more. The 4 GB of ram will somewhat limit the number of simultaneous applications or web sites open at one time. The 64 GB of eMMC storage is really the practical minimum for a usable Windows 10 or 11 experience. The micro SD card may be used to meet likely additional storage space for application programs a files. It has a very good selection of USb and HDMI ports. My usage thus far has confirmed the physical strength and the expected performance in all ways. It's not a power PC but it is a very capable laptop for most routine uses. Fold the display over and you have a very nice Windows tablet. The display has gorilla glass to allow just a pencil to be used as a stylus. I bought it at an unbelievable price during the black Fridays sales period. But even at it current price it is a very good buy for a low end but capable laptop pc. ... show more

  • Good notebook, but poor support on Linux
Style: Computer
Nice little notebook. The keyboard doesn’t feel great, but it works. Port selection is nice. The trackpad and wireless card seem to have poor support on Linux operating systems. That is, I couldn’t get either to work at all. Kind of a bummer since Win10 is such a hog on this machine’s RAM, but oh well. ... show more

  • It is what it is
Style: Computer
As the headline states, it is what it is. It is a low price computer with little memory, but for the price I paid (Black Friday) it was worth the price. I use a regular computer for most of my work. I can't work on CD's etc since there is no CD drive. There are limitations, but for the little over $100 I paid, it is a sturdy little computer for misc. items when I don't want to run upstairs to check something. ... show more

  • It works.....for a while
Style: Computer
It did what we needed: small web browser for web based applications. And then it stopped. One input component at a time. First it was the touchpad. It requires a driver update and reboot to work. Then the keyboard died. The good news is i had a wired mouse to get things sorta working. And wouldn't you know it THAT requires a driver manipulation and one to two upgrades. So getting both to work is now one of those multiple switches puzzles where you have to get them just right to have both work at the same time. And even then dont let it go to sleep or the dance starts again. Would not recommend except for nerds who want to update drivers as part of their turning computer on routine. ... show more
