Why does Microsoft want to be Apple so badly that they would limit their operating system to the point of being useless??? Windows 11 S is so limited that the system is unusable and forces you to open a Microsoft account before you can even use the device. Even then it's so slow that waiting for anything to open takes way too long, even the settings menu takes 15 to 20 seconds to open, and the boot up time is ridiculous. I ordered this knowing there are ways to bypass needing a MS account and disable the S mode limitations. However, while bypassing the MS account worked with an additional work around, non of the S mode bypasses posted online worked at all. I almost packed it back up for a refund but instead decided to load Windows 10 home on it. The difference was amazing. First thing I noticed was it booted up nice and fast, as you would expect it to. The entire tablet ran so much faster and smoother, even before loading the correct drivers, which gave it an extra boost in speed. And finally, I was able to load the software I needed to run on it, including the programs I wrote myself. S mode wouldn't allow me to load any of these. It's still not going to be a gaming machine or video editor, but now it works great for daily use, or as in my case, a low cost single purpose tablet that's only going to be used occasionally for work. Pros: Low cost, decent touch screen response, Included keyboard, two USB C ports. Manufacturers who install only one USB port and then also make it the charging port should burn in Hell. Cons: Windows 11 S. I suspect any version of Win 11 would ruin this tablet. No full size USB ports. If you need a good, inexpensive tablet that works out of the box, THIS IS NOT IT! If you're willing to put in some time loading Windows 10 onto it then it's a great little tablet. ... show more

This laptop is much faster once the Lenovo software and the Windows software is up to date. FHD in a screen this size and a laptop this price is a bargain and great for working with spreadsheets. NO, this is not a gaming laptop. It’s powerful for network surfing, using standard programs for work, or for general school work. 4 GB RAM is just enough for that but not nearly enough RAM for gaming or video editing, or anything else that uses a lot of computing resources to function properly. This does what it was designed to do, beautifully and portably. It’s super lightweight, battery lasts a long time, keyboard feels natural, and it’s all easy to stow in a small bag. VERY slow. Stay away from it. Better spend $200 towards an iPad or a Microsoft Surface. And being slow here is not just when you do something that requires resources; even simple tasks like opening and editing a document on Word or browsing the internet or watching a YouTube video are all so difficult to perform and will most certainly send the app you're trying to work with crashing. Don't even think about multitasking or opening multiple apps at once. Also battery life is short, touch screen is not that responsive, and it's a bit too heavy for its size. It is good for nothing. Unlike some others, I knew exactly what I was purchasing. A low powered Windows 11 machine, like other windows machines it took all day to set up and make sure all updaters got installed. This Lenovo is no multitasking beast, but it's not advertised as one either. The first thing that I did was take it out of S-Mode so I could down load apps that are not in the Microsoft store. Installed Chrome and m Office 365 apps in which these run flawlessly. Now a cool factor, remove the keyboard and it can now bluetooth to the machine so you can type from your lap. The sound is nothing to write home about but I always used a headset anyways. Would I purchase for some one else in my house hold, no. It's got it querckyness that takes some time to get use too. This was purchased as a secondary machine, a light weight travel companion. I have much more testing todo and thing to try with little machine. ... show more

I'm really not too sure why people are giving this tablet so many one star reviews...I got it, charged it, and deleted the unneeded apps. I then took it out of s-mode and put a 256GB micro SD card in. After that I installed some basic apps (spotify, etc) It runs great. Literally zero problems. I even play some less demanding PC games on it while it's throttled in POWER SAVING mode with no lag...and I even got a used (like new) one. Just look up how to optimize a PC. It's not difficult and can really get you a great deal. Delete all of the bloatware, it makes a massive difference. ... show more

Estuve día tras día tratando de prenderla y solo me encendió una vez, después me decía que tenía problemas y que debía reiniciarla! Y así sucesivamente todo el tiempo ! La vida útil no puedo clasificarla porque sinceramente no se cuanto dura ! Pero el producto en sí es DEMASIADO lento! I needed a windows tablet for work because the android version of the Microsoft browser wouldn't work correctly. So, I needed a windows tablet. I'm not a gamer or power user by any stretch, but there aren't a lot of options for a windows tablet. For battery life, I use power saving mode, and so far it will last my 8 hour shift, so I'm happy with that.
