Bought pretty much on impulse. Needed a basic laptop as the Acer Spin5 I use has a power connection glitch. This machine did come with Windows 11 installed, but I just finished going through all the updates (about 6 or so) to get to the latest version of Windows 11, and it runs ok. Also went through a dozen driver updates and everything works ok. I was concerned about 8 megs of RAM being enough for the software I use, and it's not, apparently, as that software runs but crashes after a while. Also, 256 GB of ssd storage is not enough. However, both those things are pretty easy to upgrade. Screen optical quality is very lackluster & I have been trying to tweak that in Windows with not much luck. I like the touch screen, track pad, keyboard feel. I like the power connector, seems sturdy and that's important to me, as I have regularly killed laptop power connections. wanted a low cost windows laptop and this was perfect. Comes with Windows 11, and initially set to Safe Mode (S Mode) which you can easily turn it off to download whatever apps needed, including Chrome, Cricut Design Space, and Examplify/ExamSoft. I’m not a gamer, but I’m a crafter and do a lot of work for non profits. I have an existing Microsoft 365 account so set up was really easy. I uninstalled McAfee. I set Chrome as my default browser. The trackpad looks like it’s set more to the left but it’s actually centered with the space bar, because the laptop comes with the 10-number key pad to the right (most others usually don’t). The power charger bar is really small. The touchscreen is a nice feature (but not really necessary). Start up is pretty fast. The 15 inch screen is nice. ... show more

I purchased this weeks ago and it’s a good laptop, it’s super light weight, fast and modern looking, just a hint that this product dosent come with MCagee which is a virus product for laptops, and they will try to get you to call them and give your information, bank info etc be careful, overall one of the best laptops I ever owned. ... show more

Decent laptop for the money. My 6yr old 15” pro book gave up and I needed something to just simply run several screens for working call center at my home office. The build is cheap and the charger sucks, but for what it cost I’m happy. The ssd is twice the size as my old laptop which is nice, but the processor (i3) is basically the same. I could care less about a touch screen but I guess if that’s something you want it’s a nice feature. My travel laptop 14” pro book is made like a tank while this thing feels extremely flimsy and cheap. Once again, the price is right but don’t expect professional grade quality. ... show more
