I’m really impressed with this window film! It’s just as described — no glue needed, thanks to the static cling design, which made installation quick and clean. Some warm soapy water and a squeegee later, it was smooth, and once it dried, it looked amazing. The rainbow tulip 3D effect is beautiful when sunlight hits it. It gives the window a magical, colorful glow without being too over the top. You still get natural light, but the film adds privacy and softens harsh sun, which is perfect for rooms where I want light without direct glare. Also a big win is the UV protection (claims ~96%), which gives me peace of mind for furniture and skin. It holds up well, doesn’t leave sticky residue, and seems reusable if I ever decide to remove it. If you want to add some style, privacy, and light control to a window or door without permanent modifications, this film is a great choice!

This is a beautiful window cover! It is easy to apply, cut to size, although I do recommend getting the correct width first. It provides privacy while still allowing light to flow through, you can still somewhat see out; it helps in cutting down the heat & looks great!! So far it is sticking well, I do recommend following the directions exactly as far as getting the window wet first, enjoy!

Absolutely Love this!!! So, I wanted something that would keep the beauty of the design on my door but not be see through. I threw away my shade after I put this up. I dont like people being able to look in. When I tell you this is perfect.!! The best $7 I invested in this week. You can’t see through these and its gives the door a rich look. The thickness is great, quality is better than I expected. Love it! Easy to put up, flattens easily, I used my hand to smooth it out. I have extra for other windows if needed. I am very pleased!!

The media could not be loaded. Update 2025: Moved and took the film with me. These are easy to reuse as long as the new windows are similar size and you roll them up properly! Though my new home has better windows, these are still useful in areas that take a beating from the sun. Also, I found out house plants can get enough light even with these up! Cool. Bought them 2 more times after the initial review and their consistency between rolls has been the on point. I still highly recommend these! I live on the second story of an apartment building with all my windows facing out into the parking lot. Besides the view being undesirable, the windows are probably original to the building (1980s), all single pane, and let in a lot of heat during the Florida summer. I wanted something prettier to look at than a parking lot that could also reduce the heat transfer from the outside, if only by a little bit. These fit the bill! My camera does not do these justice. They are absolutely lovely. They catch the light, whether it's the sun during the day or your lamps at night, and reflect it beautifully. I took several pictures and a small video to try and show how they look at night, during the day, and from outside. I bought two rolls and both were the same consistency. These are just so-so for privacy. The closer you are to the window, the less they block. It's still better than having nothing at all, of course, but if you want complete privacy go for a plain frosted film. Heat reflection seems pretty good. I have one window without a film and there's a noticeable difference between that window and the ones with this film on it. Installation was easy after I read the directions. I had no problem separating the film from the plastic protective backing. My windows had paint and gunk on them from a poorly done remodel before we moved in. I took a stove scraper (with plastic blade) to get everything off and thoroughly cleaned my windows. After cleaning them, I soaked them with my water spritzer and stuck the film on without cutting them. Once they were in place THEN I cut them! (Gila's Window Film kit really helped get everything fit and cut.) I got the air bubbles out with Gila's hard card squeegee. The only negative thing I can say about putting them on my window is the film is a bit unwieldy when you've got a larger window. That's not the products fault, it's just the nature of covering a large space. I will be getting a 3rd roll of this to finish a 4th window (which I knew in advance I didn't have enough for). Highly recommend!

I like that this window film is subtle, but it still provides just the right amount of privacy, which is the main reason I got it. The only way you can see somewhat clearly out the window is if you put your face directly up to the film, and even then, you have to find just the right spot. It also looks very pretty and casts rainbows down onto the floor and walls during the day. The material itself feels thick and high quality. It was a hassle to apply, but that’s probably just because I had to do it six times. I’d definitely recommend getting a kit for this with a sharp blade.

I’ve followed the directions and I still can’t get the corners to stay down. They keep curling up. I’m getting super frustrated because it looks great otherwise.
