I love this dog house! I was a little scared at first cause some reviews said the panels were warped and so on. I am happy to say that ours came in beautiful condition. I gave it 3 stars for ease of assembly, because I had to get my dad to help me hold the pieces together and for some reason the roof was not wanting to snap together at first. The reason I only gave it 4 stars for weatherproof was because if you don't want the rain to blow in you have to buy plastic and make a door. I couldn't tell if the water inside was from rain blowing in the door or if it was leaking so I'll update my review after I get my door made and it rains again! It is very sturdy and overall is a good dog house if you don't want to spend a lot of money. So now it rained again, and I am very happy to say that there were NO LEAKS! The door kept the rain out very nicely.

The large dog house comes well packaged with simple, clear instructions as well as a phillips head screw driver and a pair of gloves. The parts are extremely flimsy and a few of mine were a bit curved, so it did take me a few minutes longer to line them up to put it together (which was about 45 minutes by myself.) Once everything is screwed down it feels much more stable. My only complaint is that it is absolutely NOT insulated as advertised. But if you're using this large house for a medium dog you could easily insulate it yourself and still leave your dog with plenty of space. All in all it is worth the $120ish I paid for it and I would buy it again.

This is a very nice dog house. It was delivered in perfect condition, and it literally took 25 minutes to assemble, by myself. At first, the plastic material seems kinda flimsy, but once assembled the structure is very rigid and stable. The interior of the large sized dog house is very spacious, and it will accommodate a very large dog. Assembly of this dog house is straight forward, and the instructions are very clear. The entire dog house slides and snaps together, and then it is held together with self-tapping screws. All of the screw holes lined up reasonably well, but using an ice pick and some gentle coaxing helped to align the holes during assembly. Everything went together quickly, smoothly and squared. The two main "drawbacks" of this dog house (depending on the climate it is used in) are that it is light weight, and it has thin, uninsulated walls. This dog house comes with 2 very short, plastic stakes to use to hold it down in the wind, but they are pretty worthless IMO. I recommend purchasing some long, metal tent stakes if the dog house is to be used in a very windy environment. Also, this dog house is made out of the same plastic material as our Rubbermaid tool shed, which gets very hot inside during the summer. I would recommend putting this dog house in a shady area so that it stays cool inside. This dog house does have a large door, and ventilation vents on the front and back, that help to keep it cool inside, but it will still get hot inside if left in the sun all day. I also tested the rain-proof aspect with a garden hose, and this dog house does not leak at all when assembled correctly. The most important aspect of this dog house is that our 9 month old German Shepherd puppy likes it a lot. Also, it is hard plastic so it can just be washed out with a hose when it needs to be cleaned. Overall, I recommend this dog house, but just be aware of the wind and heat caveats that I previously mentioned.

This is the perfect size for smaller goat breeds! I bought it as a quick nursery for my nigerian dwarf and it comfortably fits her, her horns, and her three babies. The plastic isn't slick, the babies haven't slipped on it. Putting it together was simple and the instructions made sense. It's light weight but seems durable. Before moving it to the nursery, my other goats jumped all over it, sliding off the roof, raming each other into it and so far no big dents or anything. All in all, I'm happy I decided to get it!

Is this something durable, last forever and ever dog house? No. Is it a great dog house for $100ish bucks? Sure is. It isn't insulated but stuffed with straw it does decently. I live in Texas, only small windows of cold here. This offers decent walls for the occasional cold with some add ins and offers shade for the summer days. Came together fairly easily. The snapping pieces are sometimes frustrating. We bought two, one for our Belgian malanois X and one for her pitbull young daughter. I have to get another as my kids keep fighting over it 😂 If you have a toddler and don't want to pay $300 for a name brand play house, I'm sure your toddler will be happy like mine!

Update *** when it rains it goes inside a lot sooo it’s really only to protect from shade, would return but I already built it. So I’ll break up my review in different sections: -building the dog house was pretty easy following the manual step-by-step. Following the order it said to connect the panels and put in the screws. -the dog house itself it pretty flimsy and the side panels are pretty thin. It feels cheap. Its not bad, you get what you pay for. I’m sure I can find sturdier houses but obviously would cost much more. The good thing about it not weighing so much is that I can move it around when having to mow the lawn in that section and easily put it back. -size: I got the 42inch and I have an 85lb mixed breed dog, width wise is pretty good and spacious for my dog, height wise, my dog cannot sit inside he has to crouch to get inside and lay down. Pretty good for when my dog is outside with us. Let’s see if it lasts because the base is also pretty flimsy.
