The placement of the bars are to far apart which will allow a 4 month old puppy to escape. My husband who is fabulous assembling furniture took 4 hours. Latch construction is weak at best for another escape route and the drawers could be opened with a the dogs nose. It is not designed for a young dog or puppy who wants out. The construction was well. It’s a good sturdy piece of furniture. It’s complicated. Took me 5 hours to do the bottom another two hours on the top and I still have draws and doors 29 pages of diagrams and 3 pages of parts and 3 pages of pieces. And it’s too small for my lab

    • So much nicer than just a wire crate!
While we found this difficult to put together, it looks nice once you are finished. For us it was a two person job. Contacted the seller as the box was damaged when arrived. The seller rapidly responded to my inquiry. I was pleased with the results.

This is a good-looking crate, feels solid, nice to have the storage with the doors. It was time-consuming to assemble and instructions were not always clear, but everything fit together well and pre-drilled holes aligned correctly. Love the result, but set aside 3-4 hours for assembly.

Zero stars times 10. There are just short of hundreds of pieces. Unpackage the obviously returned box that is near destroyed, and low and behold, NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. Amazon's answer, wait 2 days to see if they contact you. Great job! A++. I will enjoy returning the item and wasting more of my time. Buyer beware. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The dog kennel is a great build it’s self but very cheap wood that they are using. The screws go through the wood when I HAND TIGHTEN IT and one of the drawers gets stuck and won’t want to open easily but other than that still a great dog kennel and looks nice in room
