We had been searching for a corner entertainment center that we really liked and we have searched for years. I really want to give this five stars and I probably should based on its looks, easy assembly, and quality but I just can't due to the measurements. It's simply too big for our corner. I researched, read over the measurements and even looked at Leick's website. Having looked at these for some time marking out lines on our floor based on measurements I knew what we needed. A 56' front would be perfect. What I didn't realize is the front extends an additional 7" out from where the 56" measurement across first touches the wall. I have attached a drawing showing the actual measurements and how this impacts the fit in the corner. You need at least 50" out from corner on each wall if you want to be sure the front edge is in the clear. See my drawing. I also would like the say the unit comes extremely well packed. The box was really beat up and the only thing we noticed was a smudge on the front edge of the top which we will live with. Picture also attached of box and off corner where we installed it. The edge of the hearth simply makes it too tight of a fit. Bottom line....if you got room get yourself one. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

I’ll make this a quick review. This is an awesome beautiful little tv cabinet. It has nice design details, nice finish, seems pretty sturdy, and it’s easy to assemble. I’d say it was perfect for my small corner area in my living room. I was initially worried whether this stand would be good quality. Buying it sight unseen was a risk, but it paid off. My 65” tv sits perfectly on top with plenty of room for my kids Wii U, PS4, switch, Blu-ray, and PS VR, and all the games and controllers.     • INGENIOUS SIMPLICITY OF ASSEMBLY

If I can assemble this stand with the use of only one hand, then you should have no problems by using two. I suffered a massive stroke in Aug 2015 and still have 60% left side paralysis and live by myself in my apartment. My neighbor had told me if I ever needed a hand with anything, "Just ask". When I received my microwave she helped me get it from the box to the kitchen countertop. When I asked for assistance to assemble this TV Stand she said she doesn't know how to do furniture assembly because it's confusing. I told her I would take care of the instructions and all I needed her to do was hold major pieces in place while I fastened them together. She still declined to help. It took me about 4 hours; but I was able to assemble this fantastic TV stand with the use of only one hand and a bum left leg/knee and a good right leg/knee to hold the handles or front doors in place while I affixed the handles. My LG OLED65C9PUA fits it PERFECTLY with only about 1/4" of screen extending beyond both top edges and is well enough away from the tapered back that the screen is nowhere near the walls. That TV has such great sound that NO SOUNDBAR IS NEEDED. and the Surround Sound via Dolby ATMOS is fantastic. ... show more

This had to be the easiest assembly i've ever done. The engineers who designed this have made this a joy to assemble, seriously, the main front face assembly, inner box & outer walls are attached with hinges, 60% pre assembled. It the best design i've ever encountered in a do it yourself assembled piece of furniture, it took 15 minutes to complete once all the parts we're identified. The material is very good, well finished and all the parts fit perfectly. Looks great, solid, a great value, i would purchase from this manufactor again. ... show more

The cabinet arrived 2 days earlier than initially thought which was nice even though the original date was pretty quick. The box had minimal damage but the product inside was not as fortunate. The back panel was damaged but able to be covered by the items on the shelf. The unfolding form of assembly was pretty cool but it was not completely partially assembled as the manual showed and some pieces were bent at the connections but we were able to get them aligned ok. The time to assemble was relatively quick and the instructions clear. The color is nice, definately a dark wood with the hint of cherry red. Not as dark as espresso and rich looking. The hardware is nice, unique and not a cheap looking brass or good tone. Other than the damage, which was probably done during packaging based on the damage vrs the box condition, the piece is nice looking and fit our 65" tv and the intended area well. I would probably buy this brand again. ... show more

To spite everything I was told, the finish is red, like mahogany almost. I would have given it 5 stars if it were less red. It was easy to assemble and well made. I'm a 70 yr. old woman and did it myself. I have a heavy older 56 in tv setting on it. Very sturdy.

This unit is nicer than most of the assemble-it-yourself furniture I've seen or bought. The assembly is easy although putting in the screws that hold the top on require laying down on the floor to reach them. The instructions were a bit vague about the placement of the support brackets for the bottom angle shelves on each end but we figured it out. The only issue of consequence was some minor damage to the left corner of the top. The shipping box looked a bit bedraggled and I guess something got to the corner. It's not bad enough to make me want to replace the unit, though, I'll take a furniture marker and touch it up. I do think the unit is a bit overpriced. If it were about $60 less it would be a good value. ... show more

I will start by saying that Leick has excellent customer service. We received a damaged product and they shipped out a new onenezt day no questions asked. This item is extremely easy to put together. I believe the entire piece has only 4 screws. The rest kind of just slides into place. My only advice, and it's sound advice, is to make sure the damn thing is right side up. It's confusing and has little markers and took me awhile to realize the main piece was upside down. As long as everything is facing the right way, you should be able to put this thing together in 20 minutes. It also looks very professional and quality made. Not cheap looking at all. Also, we have a 65" TV sitting in top of it without issue. It has a 40" base, so it fits fine. ... show more
