We have purchased (well... our elf brings) advent calendars every year for the last four years. This was one of my favorites. My son (8) loves Minecraft, and felt that the characters that he got in it were unique and he was excited to use them in his Minecraft lego setups. I really liked how they made a few of them festive by adding snow, or little Santa hats. Each day had something that was big enough to get him excited, and he never needed help to make the build, which is great because he always did it before I woke up in the morning. We didn't get one for our 10 year old as we felt that he was aging out of the little builds, but he was pretty bummed not to get one, and said that he really liked it. Ultimately I think it would be good for anywhere from 4-11 years old. As always incredible lego quality. They fit together so well, and there are never issues with directions. ... show more

This looks very cute and fun, I haven't opened it yet because of course it's for my son to use in December but we have bought Lego Advent Calendars for many years and they are always good quality, a fun little build each day with clear instructions and good, sturdy pieces. It was even better to find this on a good sale. You can get off-brand block calendars but we did one year and it was just not the same. Builds were complicated with poor instructions and blocks were not as nice. Lego is the best! ... show more

I bought this for my sister to open this past christmas and it was super fun to receive a new prop or character each day. It was like building a little world in our bedroom. Good value for the price if you love Minecraft and LEGO. Can't wait to see what they have for 2026!

My 7 year old Minecraft obsessed son absolutely loved this! It provides a great range of figures and accessories. No missing pieces, as is always the case from Lego. Instructions provided on each door. Would we great for a wide age range and each took only a minute or two to build.
