This is very convenient and I can straighten my hair quicker than with a flat iron... but it doesn't straighten my ends, still need to use the flat iron for that (unless there's some trick I don't know about). I always had problems with roots with my flat iron, this is great for that! However, my hair doesn't stay as straight for as long, I usually have to do a touch up or two. I bought this in 2021 and it still looks brand new, all the "bristles" are still there, it's very well made.

Several reasons I made this purchase when I shouldn't have - I'll just say it was late at night and I didn't do my research. So I hated this tool when I first used it. I thought it would dry and straighten at the same time, and I didn't realize I was supposed to provide my own tension by holding the hair as I straightened. Apparently straightening brushes are to be used on dry hair. So unless you are as good as a professional when blow-drying, you still have to blow dry and THEN straighten. This isn't really a time-saving tool; it is an alternative to a flat iron. Some reasons people prefer straightening brushes - supposedly less damage than a flat iron, to avoid lines from a flat iron (made by cheap flat irons in my experience), and maybe fewer flyaways / frizzies than with a flat iron. BeKind said in their packaging that they had "how to" videos online, so I looked for them. I couldn't find them but I did find one comparing a different straightener to the TYMO Ring. The TYMO Ring looked pretty awesome so I ordered one. Once I educated myself I tried both the BeKind and the TYMO. I still didn't like the BeKind but I loved the TYMO. BeKind took too long to use, the oval shape meant that the hair in the middle of each chunk got more "treatment" than the hair on the edges, and it took several passes over the hair to straighten it. TYMO Ring beat BeKind in all these areas, so I am returning the BeKind. It did have nice packaging, but that was probably the best thing about it. Even if I hadn't found the TYMO Ring, I would have returned BeKind because my flat iron does a better job.

This brush was a gift to a friend of mine. She has very curly hair for which she ends up putting into a bun later in the day, when the straightening of her hair reverses. So she gave me very insightful feedback on this particular product. 1) Packaging and accessories, she really loved that it came with a number of clips and heat gloves. She thought it was a bit hard to open, but thought all the little extras, like clips and pins were nice. It was a very professional packaging once it came out of the brown box. 2) Use, so said that the portability of it was nice, it was more or less the size of a traditional brush, it's not particularly larger or smaller for similar products. But when combing through, she like how it felt safer than a heat iron. Having the setting means she can run the product at a safer heat levels, as to not worry as much about burning her hair. She did note, that it didn't take less time to straighten, but it felt safer. 3) Outcome. Well, i was with her, and indeed, the product performs as expected, hair was straighten, and it's nice that she was able to additional bring it to work. Some nicer detail included a temperature LED. She notes, she's tried other hair products with the settings, but liked that it told her what the temperature was, so it wasn't a guess. Overall, she really liked it, and was glad to have received it from me! She intends to try it in different situations, such as after wash and such to see if that makes a big difference, hair care is important to her, so device that doesn't destroy her hair is always good.

I have been having major issues with my right shoulder which can make styling my own hair a real challenge. My hair is long (mid-back) and thick, too. I let my hair air dry completely then apply a super light smoothing spray to help prevent heat damage before using this straightener brush. I straighten in sections and even with my bum shoulder, if I hold the hair section firmly then move the brush slowly through, I can finish the whole job in less than 10 minutes, even with going back over the stubborn sections 2 to 3 times. My hair comes out super straight and frizz- free. I would love to be able to make my hair do a soft spiral for a more full-bodied look from time to time, and I haven't figured out how to do that with this tool yet, but that's the only limitation I've found. For me, this works even better and faster than my ceramic flat iron. I love that the temp control locks once you set it and it also remembers the last setting I used automatically. This is a nice product and it's impressively packaged too with lots of nice extras (bobby pins, clips, scrunchies, heat glove, sectioning comb, etc) so it would make a lovely gift, too. The heat glove is not really necessary. I can touch the brush "bristles" directly to guide my hair through without getting burned, even on the highest setting. The bristle ends are cool to touch.

I had been looking at these for a long time. I have regular hair straighteners but they always took so long. I almost bit the bullet and ordered a L’ange straightening brush but I decided to go to my Amazon wish list instead. I absolutely love this! It heats up really quickly, is easy to control, and makes the process go super fast. I usually wash my hair at night and put it in a bun before bed to save time. So, naturally, I usually wake up with kinks in my hair. It takes me maybe 5 extra minutes in the morning to run this through my hair and it’s perfect! Now - I have very fine, shoulder length hair. I am not sure how it works on long or very thick hair. But it has definitely been a game changer for me! This specific hair straightening brush also comes with some fun extras like Bobby pins, ponytail holders, combs, and hair clips. It also comes with a heat resistant glove but I have not had to use it. I definitely recommend this brush, and you can’t beat the price!
