My favorite build
My kids and I do legos together all the time. We have gradually been getting harder more complicated sets since they are still young. This was the perfect level of fun and challenge! It's super cute and it looks great displayed when you are done! I loved the design of this one! Especially the fact you can pose his arms, legs and head! Each day it seems like one of my kids have moved him in a different position! Like I stated earlier, it's not a super hard build but it's detailed enough to keep it interesting! As always, the Lego instructions are easy to follow, and it even comes with a cassette tape just like the movies! If you’re into Marvel fan this is a must have! ... show more

It's Adorable
My 7 and 5 year old boys loved this especially when GOTG3 came out. But just like any other Lego, it ended up in a pile of unused Legos in their room. It definitely helps kids engage in building while having fun.

fun times
LEGO Marvel I am Groot 76217 Building Toy Set for Kids, Boys, and Girls Ages 10+ looks really great when completed. There were a few rough spots in the assembly process for the grand kid, but he over came and got it all together. All the pieces were there, the instructions were great, and the pieces fit together. This is my favorite thing about LEGO, they are consistently a well done building set. ... show more

Very fun and simple build!
It was surprisingly simple to build this cutie Groot. I had a bit of trouble getting his cheek pieces to stay put, but after realizing I needed his "nose" pieces be set a bit higher (to allow the studs exposed for his "upper lip" pieces to be attached) I was finally able to keep his cheeks in place. I realize I might have built his legs improperly because my Groot is not stable. His left foot is not flush on the floor like in the picture, and I cannot make him sit. He sometimes falls over due to his upper body being a little top heavy. I might have to troubleshoot Groot later, but overall I throughly enjoyed it and I am happy I got it on sale. The cassette is such a cute addition to this set, too. And best of all, no missing pieces. I love it. ... show more
