It took approximately 1 hour to build. I got it for my parter for Valentine’s Day and assembling it made a great couples activity. It comes with extras of all the small pieces in case you lose one. This was a gift for my daughter in law and I am so jealous because it is SO ADORABLE! She loves it and she really enjoyed putting it together. The instructions are easy to understand but attention to detail is a must for these sets for sure. It is def not for very little kids but I think prob 10 and up can do it.     • Great gift! Fun to put together and looks good.
I put this plum blossom together in about 2 1/2 hrs, as I was in no hurry. A couple of the diagrams were a hard to differentiate the piece colors. The printing was too dark in the included instructions. I gave the finished piece to my MIL for Valentines Day. She loved it. Her eyesight is poor, so the colors and shape are nice. Cut flowers are a nice gift, but they don’t last long. This plum blossom doesn’t need water and will remain colorful. I might get another to keep for myself. Note: The small brown pieces in the pot are placed around the stems to look like soil. They are just put in loose. I ended up stringing them loosely onto a brown thread first so they wouldn’t go everywhere if the piece was tipped over. ... show more
