I bought this as my three year old daughters first lego set. I obviously had to walk her through the process and help with a few pieces, but she absolutely loved it. The instructions in particular were VERY good for a younger child. Rather than lego's typical instructions that show a box with the pieces required, this set showed a hand with the pieces you needed to grab. This was very intuitive for her. She's since had other lego sets both for older kids (which she struggled with) and the duplos, but I haven't seen the same instructions on any of those, which is a bummer. ... show more

Its a nice easy build, any age child can build it, but the tail end is very bland and lacks definition causing it to not look so good and they are no joysticks or controls in it. At least the LEGO Cars have steering wheels.
