Bought this one to build my home gym. Spent quite some time to set it up but it’s worthwhile. Strongly suggested to get a ratchet before start assembling, which could save you tons of time. Instructions are simple but I like the fact that they separated the screws and washers by steps. Building quality wise this one is great. Solid steel and good design. Having been using it daily for two weeks and it worked great. It’s very sturdy and the movement was very smooth. Definitely worth the money.

Excellent machine. Easy to change from leg presses to hack squats. Professional grade. Highly recommend. Very affordable and durable. Absolutely horrible assembly instructions. Very under detailed. If I wasn't familiar with the equipment it would've been an even worse nightmare to assemble, but it was absolutely worth it.

Literally hundreds of purchases off Amazon, but this is one of the more expensive purchases, so to try and help others this is my first review. I researched multiple models of the "leg press/hack-squat" combo, but finally decided to go with the Jelen's model based on price,a handful of positive reviews, and most importantly (for me), customer pictures. The pictures gave me a really good idea of how the product was constructed, a visual reference to the actual assembled size, and where any potential issues may occur. Shortly after clicking "purchase" I received a notification that my order had been received and that a FedEx shipping label was being created. Shortly after that I received the FedEx tracking number. The product was received two days earlier than expected (which to me is a huge bonus and scored customer service points right from the start). It comes in two boxes; one long, heavy box with the rails and longer components, and a second heavy box with the smaller pieces. The parts are labeled individually to match the steps where they will be used on the instruction sheets, as are the screws, nuts, bolts. I should add that I have the absolute worst luck when it comes to basically anything, so for all of the parts/pieces etc to be included and nothing missing was in and of itself a miracle to say the least, but everything was there and assembly with the instructions provided actually ended up being a smooth and straightforward process. For the price this actually exceeded my expectations. While the bump stop does prevent a full range of motion (going deep) I've found it can be easily overcome by adding a block of some sort on the feet rest (for hack squats) or by adding a couple of gym mats on the back rest (for leg presses). For reference I'm only 5' 6". The angles for both the leg press and hack squat feet rests can be adjusted, the rail system is very smooth, and the entire setup is very sturdy (no wobbles, shakes, etc whatsoever). In short: I bought this product because I wanted to be able to do leg presses and hack squats at home. For the money, I assumed I would either have buyer's remorse or have to find ways to manipulate it in such a way that it ended up working to meet my needs. This product has truly exceeded my expectations in every way. Like I said, this is my first review and I really hope it helps. I'm even suspicious of the 5 star reviews and usually assume there's an agenda of some sort behind them. That being said and for whatever its worth, I'm honestly happy with this product.

Received my Jelens Leg Press\Hack Squat machine within the shipping time suggested. Assembly was simple with the step-by-step hardware instructions. I was able to put this together in about 2.5 hours. After assembly I scheduled a leg workout the next day to try out the equipment. Wow! The machine works as described and the ball bearing loaded upper sled is very smooth and feels well made when working out. The removable back pad is easy to switch between the leg press platform and the upper sled back depending on what exercise you are doing. The only improvement I would make to this equipment is a more solid weight stack pipe for loading plates on. This is only secured by a single hex bolt in the center of the hollow pipe. Spring loaded pipe clamps may offer more secure mounting but overall this is a great piece of exercise equipment providing great value for the price!

The steel bearings keep falling out. I messaged the seller and I’m still awaiting for the issue to be resolved. Save you money and buy elsewhere.

The media could not be loaded. I received this item and everything was intact and everything was in the box. Putting it together was simple and easy, just leave each part in the clear plastic bag until you need it and it will go together smooth. Once it’s all together, slide some weights on and get that workout in.
