The slope is just right for keeping your legs comfortably elevated, and the memory foam top adds a nice touch — soft but still supportive. I used it daily to reduce swelling and ease the pressure on my legs, and I could really feel the difference after each use. The cover is removable and easy to clean, which came in handy more than once. It also stayed in place pretty well and didn’t shift around too much when I moved. This pillow is fantastic and with the soft layer of a memory or memory type foam on top is giving it Some Cush on tip to contour to your body, and it doesn’t slide around. It is wide enough that both of my legs can fit on it comfortably. I’ve taken the sleeping with it I like it so much. I used to be a side sleeper but I’m not anymore. The only thing that sucks about it is it stretchy polyester white cover that catches everything every hair every Dog hair every little brown piece of something it seems dirty within a day of using it, I did find a replacement cover in blue, a “Duvet cover” pillowcase in a non Stretchy. High thread cotton in a pretty blue. A lot easier to take on/ off . It solved all my troubles. It’s about $17 but it’s worth every penny and it grabs onto nothing. Trading out covers fixed the serious eyesore of looking like you had a really used dumpy medical piece of equipment on your bed. A satin high thread cotton pillowcase is a must investment if you’re going to use this pillow and have it out that can be found here on Amazon too.

I, like many other Amazon users, really rely on user reviews to make a decision about a product. I read a lot of great reviews on this product, and I paid extra for this product, as opposed to some similar ones, specifically because of the "gel layer" described. Imagine my surprise when I received my pillow only to find that there is no gel layer, only a piece of blue foam attached to the top, so under the pillow cover, it looks like a gel layer where there is none. It's one thing for a product to not meet expectations or be incorrect. It is another to feel like you've been deliberately deceived. As others have pointed out, the product arrives highly compressed in a small box, so once it has been opened, I have found it impossible to find packaging that would allow me to return it. I would also note that the zipper that is referred to as easy to open is absolutely not. I fought to get the zipper open, and once I had done so, I was afraid I would not get it closed again without breaking it. It's a very cheaply made zipper and after washing it once, you would be lucky if you could use it again. I checked the composition of my pillow because I found it very uncomfortable for sleeping. There is no give of any kind supporting my legs, as I would generally expect from memory foam, especially with a gel layer. I am deeply disappointed, not to mention a bit angry at the deception, at wasting money on a product that I really need right now, but cannot afford to waste money on. Before someone else does the same, please be cautious.

Think the item would be OK, but like some others have said, doesn't always "spring" to size. One side is perfect the other side is like uts deflated. Have tried everything hoping it would spring into shape. But alas no such luck. Could be a challenge to return as it is vacuum packed to fit in a small box. Difficult to vacuum pack to same size to return so stuck with 1/2 to perfect size & 1/2 somewhat sprung to size.
