This rug was a total disaster. It arrived smelling awful, like chemicals or formaldehyde or something. I had to put through the washer several times. It was too small to make a whole load, so it was unbalanced and wouldn't spin it out. I hung it outside for several days. At that point it no longer smelled but it was shedding everywhere. I put it down on the floor but there is no cushion to it whatsoever. It's all wrinkled (despite hang drying) and bunched up at the edges. The grooves where the rainbow stripes are don't feel very nice on bare feet. Just yuck. ... show more

Even though the cleaning instructions state you can wash on gentle cycle - i would not ! Definitely does not look great after you wash it and even if you sit dry as directed, the black trim blends onto the cream color and it just does not look great after. Sadly, it also looks as if it shrunk a bit, and yes,I did make sure it was on the gentle cycle! Would have loved for this to be a better purchase but I would not recommend if you are using in a high traffic area or in my case a child’s room. ... show more
