EDIT - I really wanted to come back and add to my original review for this mattress, as it's actually changed my life and improved my health. I'm completely shocked. In my original review, I knew it helping me cut down on prescription sleeping meds, but had no idea this was going to help with my breathing as well. For quite a few years, I haven't been able to lay on my left side in bed. When I do, have constant wheezing on exhale. So, even after getting this mattress, it didn't occur to me to try sleeping on my left side right away. A week or so ago, I rolled to the left side for what I thought would be a few minutes, just to reposition. To my surprise, I had no wheezing at all and was able to sleep on my side all night. I thought it had to be some kind of fluke. However, every night since then, I've been able to sleep on my left side with no asthma problems. I have no idea how a mattress is making this difference, but I can't deny the results! I didn't think I'd ever be able to sleep like that again and just figured it was a part of aging with asthma. Nope, I'm back to sleeping in any position I'm comfortable, thanks to this mattress. ORIGINAL REVIEW - By far, the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on, and I've slept on LOTS of them in my time. I suffer from insomnia, and often take sleep medications and still wake up in the night and need help falling back to sleep. Since I've had this mattress, I've rarely woken up in the night. It's amazing! This if my first experience with any hybrid mattress, and it seems I have gotten the best. I would recommend this mattress to anyone who suffers with sleep problems. The media could not be loaded. Our good friend got a Leesa foam mattress several years ago and after a party at his place everyone was obsessed with his mattress. My husband and I both like plush but also like a little bounce so when I saw Leesa had a hybrid I couldn’t wait to try it. My one son has a full memory foam bed and it has gotten hard over time and just isn’t that comfortable. He can’t even jump on it. We got him this to replace it and this mattress is seriously dreamy. I almost wish we would have gotten one for ourselves instead. The top is super soft memory foam. You just sink into it but the. You have the support of the springs underneath without actually feeling that division between the layers. It’s definitely on the very plush side so you won’t love it if you like firmer mattresses but if you like plush and memory foam this is definitely the mattress for you. It still has bounce too so my kids can jump on it and do “toasty toasties” and they are fighting over who gets to sleep in it even though it’s s smaller size. A couple other observations about this: It expanded fully as soon as I got it out of the wrap. It actually measures taller than the listed 11” as well. The cover is soft and comfy and appears to be removable but I cannot get the zipper to budge. You can feel the springs on the sides of the mattress but I don’t think it could cause pinched or anything. The edges seem to have really great support and I don’t feel like I’m going to fall off if I sit on the edge. It’s pretty heavy. Even the twin size was pretty difficult for me to get upstairs on my own. I can’t imagine moving a king size around. It also had. A pretty strong smell when I opened it but it did seem to dissipate pretty quickly. Overall we are extremely happy with this mattress. We are pretty confident it will hold up given our friends mattress is just as awesome several years later. Even after extensively shopping for mattresses this is definitely at the top of our list for comfort and we would definitely recommend it. ... show more

I love the fact that this thing comes out of the box and looks like it’s only as wide as full mattress. I was genuinely concerned I got the wrong size hahaha! Then just a tiny hole in the plastic and poof! It’s practically full size in seconds! I really appreciate I don’t have to wait X hours to sleep on it. Before pulling this thing out I spent 2+ hours putting together the bed frame. I was wiped out and my wrists were killing me. I was glad to be able to plop down on it as soon as there were sheets. I weigh 220 lbs, and sleep mostly as a side sleeper. I have a large butt and it does significantly sink into the mattress, but I like that. I’d consider this mattress somewhere between medium-soft, but I haven’t yet owned tons of mattresses in my life to compare. I fell asleep pretty quickly and even woke up a little earlier than usual. I wouldn’t say it feels too hot (I live in Florida) but I generally do not get excessively hot in general (compared to other people.) I would 100% order another Leesa mattress for another room. ... show more

After over 8 years of usage and multiple "mistakes" from our puppy and our baby boy, we were badly in need of a new mattress. Our original mattress was a soft memory foam mattress, but we decided to get this firmer Leesa one instead. We immediately noticed the added firmness, but we absolutely did not feel any discomfort while sleeping. The firmness is much more noticeable when we're just sitting on the bed, but it's also still soft and plush without the sinking feeling. Even though it's a hybrid of memory foam and spring, you won't feel the moving around of others while sleeping (very little motion transfer). We're definitely happy with the mattress, and we plan on taking better care of it than our old one. Also, make sure you measure the deepness of your sheets as well. This mattress is 11 inches deep, and it actually fits our sheets better than our old mattress, which was 12 inches deep. Another note, this mattress arrives tightly packed and rolled up, but after unraveling it, the shape took form almost immediately. We didn't have to wait long to enjoy the bed! ... show more
