After looking at various options for a couple of weeks, I originally bought a hard top tri-folding cover that was about $150 less in price. It turned out to be a total waste of time and I sent it back. Not impressed with the other options on Amazon, I was just going to go to the Ford dealer and pay the money for whatever tri folding option they would have recommended. And then I had a thought - Leer makes awesome caps for trucks so why not see if they have a hard top tonneau option. So I went to their website, found the HF350M and HF650M . I settled on the tri-folding HF350M. I went back to Amazon and found it available through Radco for the same price it was available anywhere else, so I bought it. This unit is awesome. The rail design is way better than the previous unit I installed. They protrude slightly above the bed rails and seal against the lid sections when closed, eliminating the need for a complex gutter and drain tube system, etc. It's also long enough to seal well against the bulk head and against the tail gate where the previous unit I messed with was too short. In addition, the previous cover leaked like a sieve during a decent rain the day after I put it on, this one appears to be fairly water tight. It also fits well against the bulk head even with a bed liner installed. Finally, the fact that I can open the cover from either side of the truck is awesome. All in all, I am very impressed with this cover so far. Will update this review if anything changes.

I chose this cover over the plethora of options due to price, trusted American brand, and overall functionality. It’s low profile enough and the edge beveling is attractive; I prefer it over the flush look, which I think has been overdone and a fully flush mount disallows a little less interior storage space. This cover should serve better long term water resistance with it having a lip over the bed and not requiring drainage installation that would clog with debris over time. Little water comes through at the tailgate edge but isn’t much and dribbles off the tailgate itself. I like that the bed supports the cover and not just an installed railing. It’s light enough, the opening latch should serve longer term reliability over wires, and like that I have full access to the bed without requiring complete removal. Installation is easy if you have common sense. I purchased this HF350M model from Spreetail and the company did me right, thank you. Edit: it’s been a few years now and still looks and functions well. Docking off a point because the brace holding the support broke off

glad i got the name brand leer cover, recommend watching a video on installation, after that easy to do, did my self in 15 mts, a firend would help, just to set cover on truck, very easy cover to install, done in 15 mts, glad i got the hard cover that sits on bed rail, inset of drain tubes in my bed. went to car wash, i seen no water in bed. great cover, looks great also. my bed is now locked up, love the open cover on 1 side possible . and whole truck bed open and cover still on truck. thanks leer. 65 yr old

Probably the nicest folding bed cover you can buy. It looked like a high quality product in the pics and once I installed and compared it side by side to other hard folding covers next to mine, well I'm really happy with the product. Looks nice and easy to open and fold. Installation.... umm, total pain in the ass. Crap instructions lol that if you don't get a clip or part turned the right direction then you got to start over.

First order was damaged and replacement was ordered. Replacement order was damaged in the same exact area-????? Wasted several hours on the process and returned both ....Sad because other than this problem it seemed Quality. note: damage was only apparent aften unfolding the panels at install and the install was carefully managed both times --- The fractured piece was recovered in the plastic bag wrapping of the panels both times indicating a MFG-QC issue IMHO. Hope to hear from Leer on Q Control!!! ONWARD!
