5'8" tall - 160 lbs. I really like these shorts! I chose them because of the length available and the positive, helpful reviews. I just can't go to store after store trying on clothes anymore. I purchased the denim color "Expedition" and am happy with that. I'm not a shorts person but I've worn these every day. They're comfortable, not too high waisted and don't fall down. The side and back pockets are convenient and hold my phone. The shorts are a great length for me, since I have long legs. The Lee shorts seem well made and just the right amount of stretch. Amazon recommended that I size up from my usual size 10 to size 12. They are big (but comfortable) and I can slide them down without unbuttoning or unzipping. I washed and dried these shorts but did not find them to shrink. I ordered another pair in the lighter denim in a size 10. I'll review those soon. ... show more

I am 137 lbs and 5’6”. These shorts are perfect. Whether dress up or dress down it’s very nice quality breathable fabric, not heavy yet not lightweight, POCKETS! REAL POCKETS. Not a patch on my butt. The inseam is right on the mark for my body type and he’s, I purchased them in EVERY color

    • Leg openings too wide

I love Lee jeans and wear them often. They always fit good, and these do fit very nicely overall. They look pretty good too. The only problem is the opening in the legs. I have tried several brands of shorts this year and so far ALL of them have these huge leg openings like you could put a tree trunk through. Maybe it's a new thing, but I can't stand it and refuse to wear anything like that. They all look like skirts or kulots from the 1970s. I wouldn't wear it then and I won't now. I don't want to pay for alterations to taper the legs after spending on the shorts. They DO have belt loops and good pockets which are two of my must haves in shorts. ... show more

They fit well in the waist,but the crotch area is tight. In order to have them fit where they should, the crotch sits higher than it should, causing it to dig. Length and color is great.

I am a petite. I was concerned about how the shorts would fit. They’re perfect. They stopped right at my knee and 5 feet. I purchased these shorts for vacation. I am a pocket person so I’m very happy with that and I do like the color.
