  • Odd shape creates access inefficiency
Color: Claret Red
I was looking for a hip pack for cross-country skiing, but this pack's odd design didn't work for me. No qualms about the materials and craftsmanship, though. I was attracted to this pack because of the slant bottle holder balanced across the lower back. I tested it with a 10x3" 22-oz capacity reusable bottle, a 22 oz disposable, and a 12-oz capacity thermos. The inside of the pack is continuous around the bottle holder (which is stiff); whereas in the marketing photos the bottle holder appears to divide the pack into two separate zippered compartments. The back is well-padded, designed for air flow, and comfortable. In addition to water, I need a pack large enough for a heavy knit hat, fleece neck gaiter, sunglasses, and other misc. It was an inefficient squeeze to work the hat and gaiter around and behind the stiff bottle holder and to store the sunglasses without bending them. Smaller things were easier, though: two energy bars and a gel in the left inner mesh pocket (along with keys on the key clip); cards and Pixel 4a cell phone in the right inner mesh pocket. I could slip in a trail map, too. Because of the odd shape I could not measure the capacity of the pack. Advertised capacity: 2L. Weight: 10 oz ... show more

  • Great!!
Color: Dustmoss Green
It s a well thought product made for mountain biking . It s been flawless . I even took two falls from my bike and the water bottle I placed in it did not come off , neither the product suffered any cosmetic or functional damage . I think it s also prettier in person than on photos, you can tell right away it has quality . If you are not going to carry a water bottle however , then this product won’t be your best option as the bottle holder gets a lot of the space . Otherwise just the right size for me, I like the fact you can easily tighten the strap while wearing the product . I m happy with my choice … there are cheaper options , but this one I think it has a fair price considering the features and quality . And if should last long time. ... show more

  • Savu2
Color: Dustmoss Green
Exactly what I ordered and not too big and not too small can hold one water bottle and room for some bike tools. The zipper appears to have a little kink in it possibly from shipping packaging. Hopefully it will not cause any issue down the road.

  • Fantastic for Nordic skiing
Color: Claret Red
I've used this pack now for about 120 hours/60 days. It insulates a regular bike water bottle well enough, I've not had one freeze up yet. After about 10 trips, I can get and replace the water bottle easily without stopping or looking. Have not ejected a bottle even in crashes and I'm not using the elastic strap. Carries a very thin packable jacket, hat, thin gloves, phone, food, keys, and a little room to spare. Very much better than the standard Swix water bag I used before in every way. ... show more

  • Good fit, stays tight to body
Color: Black
Fits snug. Packs a lot of goods. Easy to access goods quickly. Ventilation is great- even on big rides my lower back stays comfortably cool. Minor jostling when riding in the rough stuff, but not very noticeable. I forget it's even on throughout most of my rides. The one negative about it is the unused portion of the straps. They just dangle and flop around. Would be great to have somewhere to tuck them in. I don't want to cut them short because I'll have to widen the straps in the winter. Minor annoyance for the most part. And 10x better than a small backpack. ... show more
