  • Great after you set it up
I suggest buying the locking bushings in bulk if you have more than one caliber. I went through a lot of 357 mag with this one just fine. Took awhile to set up, but once you set it up properly it runs very well. I suggest buying the shell collater as well - saves a headache. Great value and churns ammo like a breeze. If you're new to reloading, watch a couple of videos on how to set this up and understand you'll have some destroyed cases here and there while you learn. I accidently double fed a bullet once! Glad I caught that and didn't blow off my hands at the range. ... show more

  • Best progressive press I've owned
Easy to setup, compact and easy to operate. This is my 4th Lee press and my 3rd Lee Progressive press. Both of my previous Lee Progressive presses were temperamental and easy to get out of time causing jams and the need to readjust.

  • excellent loader
it seems to work great for me and I like the features for the price, very reasonable.

  • Loader
Priming is tricky. No where as fast as advertised. Maybe 200 per hour. Leaves single stage in dust.

  • It works, but…
This press is an interesting combo of innovative and afterthought. The powder measure has some interesting features, like being threaded for common one-pound powder canisters… Never forget which powder you left in your press the last time you used it! The caliber specific kit came about 90% adjusted, and only needed some fine tuning, and the breech lock system also works well. The accuracy of the powder measure seems to be satisfactory, but nothing like my old RCBS Uniflow (also nowhere near the cost, FWIW). The major con to this press is the priming system. It’s VERY finicky and requires you to adjust the primers manually about every other round, possibly contaminating them. The entire priming system seems like an afterthought. It does come with everything you technically need for both large and small primers, but I wouldn’t plan to use it exclusively if you have literally any other priming system. The other con is the amount of plastic in the construction. For the cost, it is what it is, but not sure how long it will last. Overall, I think this press is a great addition for an established reloader who is on a budget and looking to add some progressiveness to their setup. I plan to skip the priming system and do sizing/decapping/priming in bulk on my single-stage with a case ejection system I rigged up, and run the belling, powder drop, seating, and crimping operations on this progressive press. One more word of caution: volumetric measurement for powder is really irresponsible on Lee’s part. Do yourself a favor and buy a small digital or balance-type reloading scale that measures in grains. Ditch the scoop they send you and weigh your charges for safety and consistency. Use a better reloading manual from one of the big bullet or powder manufacturers. I recommend the newest Hornady manual. ... show more

  • Great Value
Works great. Just follow the directions and if you have any issues there are a ton of YouTube videos that can help.

  • Do Not Buy!
If I could give this product negative "stars" I would. I've been reloading for over 12 years and always found Lee products to be great until now. The first hang-up are the directions and videos... they're terrible. Even if you scan the qr code, the videos do not show detail and are not specific to this product. Be prepared to spend hours setting it up. The first product problem was the primer trigger. It looked and performed like a piece of garbage. The auto feeder is constantly jamming and caused me to crush cases (pictured above). This also dented the carrier cover, so the sliding block would not slide back and forth (pictured). The priming station doesn't align with the die above it, so you will constantly have to readjust it with your finger on almost every stroke. Then the case ejector shifted and got into the depriming station and the depriming pin punched a hole through the part (pictured). Save your sanity and get another press, even if you have to spend a little more. ... show more

Like the press even with the short comings it has with a cheap progressive press but does produce good consistent ammo at least for pistol ammo that is
