This light works great and after a little modification to my fan it mounted right up. I had to drill new holes in fan mounting plate because mine were not thr right size apart. See pictures. I used this light to replace the one on my Harbor Breeze Mena 54 inch fan. Model: 58913 sticker on fan said 54INDO I also had to cut the wire pigtails from the old light and crimp them on to these wires. The three different light modes work well too. ... show more

My LED light went out on my Minka Aire - Concept II and finding an OEM replacement was more than frustrating and impossible. I even called Minka and all they did is give me a part number. I ordered this LED light because the measurements looked similar and the reviews were very good. I cut the existing connector from the old light after removing it from the old housing and just used 2 twist connectors and attached it to the new light. The 3 holes on the new light were perfect and it attached right on to the old housing using the old plastic screws and nuts. It worked perfectly with no issues. The programming features are really easy to figure out by following the instructions. If you turn the light off and on quickly it will cycle through the 3 color temperatures. I have 2 of these ceiling fans so I am definitely ordering a backup. ... show more

With nearly EVERYTHING manufactured to fail within 5 years and no parts made after one year, it is truly FANTASTIC to find a part that actually works. Even though I had to desolder the connecting wires and solder the connector from the defective ceiling fan lamp to get this to fit properly, it does work just like new. The light is a bit whiter than the original. We do find this very pleasing. Of course, time will tell if this lasts a reasonable amount of time. When ordering a replacement light kit make sure to get a dimmable one if that’s what was originally installed. This kit fits perfectly to replace the original of the 52” Petersford ceiling fan from HD. The original kit was the Minka-Aire 6F844LK01 which is no longer made of course. Just remember the wires with this kit are WAY TOO LONG and using wire nuts or lever nuts takes too much space to mount the kit to the fan. This replacement comes with a connector piece, screws, and adapters, none of which I used as that made installation impossible. ... show more

the product was what it was advertised as, but what made it unacceptable was it was promised overnight, 7-11am next day, what i got? instead of Monday at 11am i got Wednesday at 5pm. If i run my handyman business like that i would be out of business.

The light itself is bright and works great once it’s installed. But I wouldn’t call this an easy retrofit. We had to cut wires and even remove the box on the back to get it to work properly. Plugging it in as-is caused some sparking, so it seems like it’s made for a very specific setup. Main reason for the 3 stars: it’s labeled as a retrofit, but it’s not really a simple drop-in replacement. That said, once we got it wired correctly, it worked great. In apartment units, being able to swap just the light instead of replacing a whole fan saves a lot of time and money. You can choose between three light settings: bright white, neutral (yellow), and warm light. Just be aware—it may take extra work to install, and it is not dimmable. ... show more
