We have an outdoor adventure business in a very rural location. Our office sits back in a wooded area so when the sun goes down it get very dark, very fast. We've been lighting the area with two standard outdoor fixtures that use high pressure sodium bulbs which have been adequate but when they recently began to flicker and quit working I was ready to try something new. The previous light cost $100/ea. so I was trying to replace them for the same price or less. The LEDMO LED Barn Lights were highly rated and for the price of a 3 pack the average cost was less than $90/ea. The assembly was very straight forward with a two piece neck attaching to the sealed fixture. The 3 wire power supply was attached to the existing wiring from the old lamps and after attaching it in the same location I was ready to see how the new lights worked. With the photocells placed on top of the fixtures I was a little concerned at first because the instructions stated the photocell window should be facing North but when the lights came on at twilight I found this was not necessarily absolute. Bright does not begin to describe these lights...the previous bulbs allowed you to see where you were going around the building. These LED light allowed you to read a book 50 feet into the darkness with crisp, bright light and I had only used 2 of the 3 pack lights supplied. These light were actually casting shadows on our house located 100 yards from the office. It was impressive and almost too bright. There's a tilt adjustment where the fixture meets the neck so you can adjust the light directly below your mounted area or you can tilt the light upward and direct it's beam far out in front of your building. I am very satisfied with the results and if they last for the 5 year warrantied period or longer I would definitely buy them again. ... show more

These units are plenty bright. Each mount provides angle adjustment as well as an extension arm, allowing you to obtain the perfect area effect. My house sits in the middle of two acres on a hill, and I have two of these mounted on the eaves of the backside of the house. I can see almost to the back fence, with these mounted on the eave of the first story of our home. Plenty of coverage, even when mounted so low. Mounting hardware is a bit of a pain to get that perfect angle, but isn't it usually anyways? 9/10, would recommend. ... show more

Our electrician installed them so I’m not sure how easy they were to install but I loved the so much that I have 4 total. They work perfect for security and put off great lighting. I have them on our shop on 3 sides the front, back and under our lean. They come on at dusk and off at dawn unless we turn off the switch to them. The only thing I can say about them and it’s not bad is that the one under the lean stays on constantly unless I turn the switch off to it because it doesn’t get enough light to it so it thinks it’s supposed to stay on. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a great flood light and a sense of security. I’ve had mine for over 2 years and I don’t regret buying them at all ... show more

My old yard light died a couple of years ago and it was never that bright. We originally replaced it with a 200 watt solar powered light which never seemed to light up the yard very well. We recently had some trespassers/vandals at our house on three separate occasions so we decided to put up more security cameras and a better yard light as we live in a rural location. After installing the new LED barn light, the difference truly was night and day. We can see clearly now at night and much further. The whole yard is lit up well and the cameras we have can pick up intruders more easily. The install was not easy for no other reason than we used the original light pole and we wanted the light as high as possible. 25 feet high I would guess. The actual fitting of the light was simple. The light construction seemed sturdy and the the fact that it uses LED means that it won't cost much to run. I would highly recommend this light to anyone. ... show more

Does a great job. I bought this to replace a halogen light that kept burning out transformers, got tired of dragging out the big ladder and climbing the poe to rebuild it several times only to have it go out again and again. This one has been trouble free so far, covers a little more than the old one and gives off a nice clear light. I had already replaced the backyard light with a LED light and wanted the same for the front, this one does the job. Cons. The pole supplied doesn't sit very well against a round pole, I had to bend it to the shape of the pole but found out after installation it didn't hold the pole very well, it was easily moved even after it was tightened. Had to remove it and keep bending it to fit, problem being is as you bend the outside edges it pushes the inside of the clamp away from the pole leaving it very loose, a few whacks with a big hammer finally did the trick. Great light but the clamp for the pole is made for mounting to a flat surface. ... show more

UPDATE: I’ve installed the new light and it works perfectly. Plus, I was contacted by the vendor who promptly credited me for the replacement light that I ordered! I see now why the ratings are generally high - excellent customer service! Ordered one of these about a year ago. It was on dusk to dawn and worked great for a while. Then it started flickering, working at a reduced brightness, and then died completely. The same issues described by a number of other reviewers. Against my better judgment, I ordered another one since it would make replacement easier. This product is still rated very well. We’ll see… ... show more
