Just nicely made, no defects, evenly lit. I chose white light color with clear backing sculpted to match lettering. Very distinctive decorating touch, brings back the nostalgia of old neon signs without the humming noise and the fragility of glass. Was able to run the low voltage supply wire from the sign through a hole in the drywall directly behind the sign to power it from the room behind the wall. Affixed device with straight pins that are barely visible through two of the four supplied holes. Looks like it is just floating on the wall with no visible wiring. Arrived on time and undamaged. There are a lot of different suppliers out there for these illuminated signs, this just seem like the most reasonable company for what I needed, size and features. ... show more

I used these to add backlighting for a raspberry pi cluster stack. These are bright and really make the clear acrylic pop. I was able make the strand of lights shorter with a pair of scissors. I then sealed the end with a dab of silicon. I was able to power with a USB port from a Raspberry Pi that is running off a PoE switch. I would estimate the power drive to be 10-15 watts. Adhesive could use a bit higher tac strength. Also, one LED stays green, no matter what the color setting. I probably should have tested them BEFORE install & could return them. Oh well. I can live with them. $10 is tolerable. Anyway, they’re ok. Light output is good. So, they’re just another set of LED strips in a sea of LED strips. ... show more

I've tried a few of these and this works the best. Color options are amazing on the app if you use it. Brightness control and a music setting! However, if you have two for two tvs, beware: one remote can control both if they are in close enough range. I have a TV on different floors, but they're basically on top of each other. I'd recommend you buy different brands for lights if you have two tvs anywhere near each other. ... show more

I bought this for a 55 inch TV and mounted it all the way around on the back just a couple of inches from the outer edge. The corners require a loop to make the 90 degree bend which consumes about 2 to 3 inches per bend. This 13.1 foot kit just made it around starting at the side of the cutout for where the base goes and going all the way around to the starting point. The kit seemed a bit shy of the advertised 13.1 foot length, maybe it's 12.7 foot, so allow for that in your measurements. I also bought the 9.8 foot kit for a 43 inch TV and mounted it all the way around on the back just a couple of inches from the outer edge. The 9.8 foot kit made it around starting at the side of the cutout for where the base goes and going all the way around to other side of the cutout. I had a couple of feet left over which I trimmed off at an indicated cut point. The main thing I like about this kit is the price and that the circuit strip has a black background so it blends in with the TV shell. The remote works well but if you have these kits on more than one TV, then any remote operates all of the strips at the same time. This is good if you are using more than one kit on one TV, but not so much if you have one kit on each TV in different rooms. This can be overcome by using the "duoCo Strip" phone app which is able to differentiate between strip sets for commands. You do that by disabling one TV strip under "My Devices", make changes on the one you want, then enable other TV strip again. It's tricky since you can't name the TV links, but it can be done. However if you use the remote again after that it undoes whatever the app did. The color is good, but there is nothing that could be remotely considered white. The set is strictly RGB so it makes white by turning on all three colors to maximum which is supposed to yield white. But the blue band of the color spectrum has much more ability to transmit so it overrides the red and green and you get a bright pale blue instead of white. For the price, that's okay with me, but when I get my 4K TV to replace my current 55 inch TV, I will opt for a true RGB-W chipset strip. Those have true white LED chips in addition to the RGB chips so for white it turns those on and the RGB chips are turned off. The true RGB-W sets ("true" meaning it does in fact have separate white chips) tend to be in the $30, $40 and higher range. If you don't care about real white, then this set is great. The photo with the black screen shows the white light color. All-in-all I'm happy with the set, the quality and the especially price point. ... show more
