Why did you pick this product vs others?: For just less than $10, these are excellent lights! Lots of programmed looks from the remote (takes 2 AAA batteries, so, thicker than other remotes) and when it turns back on, it remembers the last setting (very nice!). Remote seems to work well. One note, these are VERY lightweight. I added a big metal washer (2.5") to the bottom of the stands and that helped. Lots of cord space between the two lights and the USB (USB A) controller. Also works well connected to a battery pack and a USB A extension cable can be used with the controller to power connection as well. I can see where kids would love these...and parents too since they are well-priced. Best lighting purchase I've made in quite some time! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was a pleasant surprise. These little nights are something else. I love the brightness and clarity of the colors. You can program them to do different things to go with music on and off remote control USB charger. It’s just the cutest thing ever. I was looking for a gift for a college student and I think this is going to be a hit. I’m surprised they’re still in stock. You better get them while they last. I'm hosting a teen karaoke night next week and this is going to be perfect. The lights follow the beat of the music. And you can use either your phone or the remote as a microphone if you don't have a karaoke machine. The bright multi colors really make the party come to life.
