Originally I only bought one. When it arrived, I planned on putting it in my sewing room, my husband was curious as to how bright it was, so we put it up on the kitchen. That end of the kitchen was always dim even with a light on. Needless to say it never made it to the sewing room. My husband loved it! Sooo, I ordered 2 more one for the garage, and one for the sewing room.when they arrived, I had to insist one went to my room. He wants to put several more throughout the house.     • Great led light. I wish it was cheaper$$.
The led light is good it is bright but since I have 12' ceilings in my garage the light is not as bright as I need it. I will try to re adjust the LED wings to see if it makes a difference. I installed the other one in my basement workshop, it is perfect. It brightens my whole workshop space which I could see everything. The only thing wrong was The package was slightly opened then when I picked it up the package opened entirely. packing was a terrible. it was delivered in its original box instead of packing it in an Amazon box. I normally would send it back but since everything worked so far I'm keepin it ... show more

    • Cheap & bright - decent quality
These were the least expensive option for this style LED light and I'm cheap so I gave them a try. I bought a total of eight of these for my garage - 7 work great and one flashes constantly and is unusable so 88% of them are great - a good solid B. I was replacing existing fluorescent fixtures with these and had to install new new light sockets, by the time I got around to it the return window for these was closed or I would have returned the defective unit. Oh, well for the price they are still very good. Extra credit goes to the inclusion of an optional extension to move the bulb away from the fixture to allow the moveable panels to be swiveled "up" if you wish without them hitting the ceiling. Been wanting a pair of these for some rooms in my basement, but unwilling to spend $50+ on a single one. Now hat the Chinese knockoffs are available I have it a try! So far I’m very impressed with the brightness. Ifs easily 5 times bright than the 100W equivalent LED bulb I had. The color is very white, which isn’t my 1st preference (I’m a soft white person), but for a utility room it works well. longevity is now the question, if it craps out, I’ll update here. ... show more

I had hoped these would increase visibility in my garage slightly, as I only have two lights in the garage. By installing them with a 45° angle in the wings these make it just as good as during the evening when the sun shines directly in! Will be buying some more of these for my basement soon where I have my streaming setup to use on my green screen! ... show more

These lights are amazing! We changed out the two bulbs in our garage and now it's brighter than daylight when they are on, no matter what time of day it is. I bought them for all the parents for all their dark and creepy corners in basements and storage areas and feel much better about their safety when say, my mom goes down to the freezer or my dad checks the furnace. Installs like a regular bulb and the "flaps"can be adjusted to the most advantageous angle. Will buy more as I discover more dark corners! ... show more

    • They work very well...for a very short time.
Extremely easy to install--they screw into regular light sockets. Initially, they were very bright, and lit the areas that I needed them to very well. However, even though they are used on average 8-10 hours a month, each of the lights had two "wings" that stopped working within a month--and the center light stopped working on one fixture within two months. Very disappointed...don't buy these lights; pay a little more and get lights that may work longer than a couple of months. ... show more

These came well packaged, and I like the extender you can use as an option. If you can change a light bulb you can install these. Excellent light in the garage now, I live in Minnesota so it gets cold out there and unlike CFL bulbs - these are immediate bright! I have a 3 car garage and have the 2 installed and they work great, expecting my 2nd box today for my wife's laundry room and my work shop! Had the first set for 3 days so I can't speak to longevity - but like most LED's they should last many years! ... show more
