I've used a number of different lights so I can be seen in Zoom calls, and so far, this is the best single-package on I've found. The light is permanently affixed to the swing arm, which is very solid, much more so than normal. The screw-bracket to fasten it to your desk surface is also better designed than normal, with a larger padded surface for a more solid attachment, and - uniquely - a flush bracket so that, when fully installed, it sticks out only a few millimeters off the back of your desk, in contrast to the usual type that requires at least an inch or two of clearance. Impressive! The light itself is a fairly standard LED panel, with adjustable brightness and warmth. It has one unusual feature - it's bidirectional, in that it not only sheds illumination down onto you, but also upwards onto your ceiling. The assumption is that, since most ceilings are white, that light will diffuse and shed back down onto you, evening out the lighting on your face to best effect for the camera. The upward-facing light isn't super bright, but it does help, and you always have the option of rotating the light around so the brighter side is facing up. My only complaint, and it's a very minor one, is that I wish the swing-arm were just a bit longer, or even that it had one more entire segment. But that's because I have an unusually large rack of monitors that I need it to be suspended over; for most ordinary users, the size will be fine. The light is powered via a standard USB-C port, but a power adapter is provided so you don't need to provide your own. There's even a remote-control for you to lose, but fortunately, all the controls are replicated right on the main body of the lower arm, so you'll always be able to operate this light. Recommended!

The unit I received worked well but did NOT match the product description. It was described as 3 colors and 10 brightness levels. I saw 5 colors and 5 brightness levels when using the button controls on the arm itself. I didn't try the remote control to see if it operated the same. Some of the angle adjustment numbers are incorrect in the product sales page photos. While the arm may rotate 360 degrees at the base, the head can only rotate 270 degrees. Generally not a problem, but just another example of the description not matching the product. Also, one of the decorative cover plugs that covers the tension adjustment screw on the "adjustment elbow" that is between the two long arms fell off after manufacturing and before I opened the box. Not an issue, since I was able to snap it back in place, but.... The unit appears to be a quality build, and I especially like the fact that it included a power supply (the last light I reviewed did NOT!) I also appreciated the fact that the power supply uses a 90-degree USB C connector so it doesn't stick straight out from the arm, but rather dresses the cable parallel to the long axis of the boom arm.

I love it, I'm getting a lot of use out of it. It's very useful both as an auxiliary light and for video or photography. I'm even using it for product photography. The arm is very articulated and the touch controls make it very easy to use. The remote control is really useful and in my opinion is a nice extra for the product. Highly recommended.

Good for webcam lighting, or product lighting if you are shooting items for sale or small crafts. I like that the light is diffuse so it's not as blinding to look at directly, and it produces even illumination. The light can be softened further by bouncing off a reflector, but I usually just aim lights to the side of me, or point directly at a wall to bounce the light back towards me if it's too strong. Sufficient for video calls and web calls, but not for lighting up your whole room or office.

This review is for the dual-sided video conferencing or recording lamp. This is a lamp with a bolt-screw clamp and a long arm that's articulated at 4 points operated by pressure screws. The lamp has controls on the arm length, but also comes with a remote control with programmed settings. You can turn the light intensity up and down, adjust the color tone and warmth, and even use it on a timer. The remote control does all the same things, but you can rotate through pre-settings like going live on video, sitting at a computer, reading, and a night mode. The lamp portion can be flipped back and forth—I think for more direct light and more diffuse light?—to find the position that works best for you. What I like about this light is that it can reach across the entire width of my desk and shine down onto projects I'm working on much better than a regular desk light or one with a wire gooseneck.

This is the perfect desk light for doing video meetings. Its easy to mount, and the adjustability is perfect for video conferencing. you can adjust color and brightness to get good looking light on you, and the arm is very adjustable to change the direction of light if needed.
