Owned this lamp for over a year and it has served me very well. Most people who see it compliment how well it works. However recently it has been acting up. The usb port itself seems to be loose/ dislodged from the wire and leads to the light flickering, low brightness and resetting of modes. Wish that it had lasted longer as it is one of the few things that I would want to keep using forever!

I am a crafter. I have found it as I get older. It is harder to do and see things as well as I need to. This light has made it possible for me too see things in great detail and be able to make cuts and arrangements much easier, with the fact that I can determine the brightness of a light and also the color of the light. Never thought that the color of the light would make a difference, but it truly does. My craft room has a window in it, so when the sun is shining in, sometimes it is difficult to regulate the light over my work, because there is a glare. But this light really takes care of that problem and allows me to see detail. I highly recommend this product as I have tried several and this is the only one that I have kept . I’m actually thinking of buying another one to use in the living room when I am reading. I highly recommend both for crafting and for reading!

Product came fast, feels well built. I added more padding that what was provided for the clamp on the desk (beautiful hardwood, handmade - so not going to leave the impression in the table from that)... buttons to power in-line with cord, so be aware of that for placement, you'll need access... and they do have a decent and positive engagement... However this is where the problem lies... I've used this lamp for ONE month, and perhaps turn off and on 2-3 times daily... not a lot right? well the power button is already not responding to my presses, and I have to really dig into the button to get the lamp to light or turn off... Again in total maybe 60 times that button has been pressed and it's already dying... and now, I have to attend to the hassle of driving an hour to a UPS store to return it, and wait for the replacement... UGH. Do Better Tropical!

It’s pretty good, very bright. It started to fall apart after a year. The first to go was the switch, the on/off just collapsed into the switch. Then the light stopped working. Overall not too bad for the price.
