I bought this as a replacement for the 1989 awning that had rotted away on my RV. I didn't expect much since it was the cheapest one I could find in the right size for my RV. However this was a diamond purchase and I am very impressed. It was easy to install, already had the seam and the rubber pieces in place. It took my wife and 15 minutes to install. ( 10 of those were figuring out how my old awning worked). It was so easy to install that when we thought we had it backwards we just pulled it out and reinserted it. It was the easiest install on the RV since we purchased it. It appears to be of a higher quality rubberish vinyl material that does not feel cheap and the black one we got looks really good on our old girl. It is rolling up and it appears something is out of square, as it has a couple inches of slack on one of the sides when fully closed. not a big deal, just mentioning it. All in all I would say 5 /5 would absolutely order this again. unfortunately / fortunately I wont be needing another one anytime soon it seems. great find, and if you are on the fence about it like I was and spending an exorbitant amount of time researching awnings, this is the one you want. it's cheap but not cheaply made. It arrived the next day and it came with a pull down strap. best of luck in your travels and I hope this review helps you make an informed decision. -K

This was sort of a pain to install but not due to the product, more so due to how long our previous awning had been installed and the fact it's a 20 footer. One of the largest listed which made it a challenge for two novices like us. Not the products fault. Doubt it will last as long as the previous one did but we got it on a Prime day and it was affordable with fast delivery, even to a PO box.

This was better than I expected. I was able to find a YouTube video for easy installation. It saved my thousands being able to replace it ourselves. I love that the underside is black, our last was white and showed the mildew no matter how much you try to dry out an awning they always get water and mildew. This fabric is very thick and durable, it has a slick surface that I think will be easier to clean

This awning is very heavy duty. It arrived well packaged and Included a new pull string to install. Be prepared, if you have a light duty awning on your rig, this vinyl is heavy. You may need to pre-tension the spring a bit more to get it to work correctly. For me, the added thickness of this quality product is worth any inconvenience. I expect it to last longer than the original by many years. I would not hesitate buying again.
