Shopped around for a rifle strap that had ammo loops for my Rossi R92 (357). I settled on this one due to the price and shipping time. Had to put in a little work. Leather was stiff which is good. Means it's good quality. So I rubbed some kiwi leather lube into it a few times to soften it up and weather treat it. Had to drill a hole in the butt and towards the top of the rifle for the connecting screws. Also had to shorten the top screw so that it did not hit the ammo tube. 357 and 38's fit perfectly in the loops. Still give it 5 stars since details did not specifically state it could be used on my Rossi R92 so I knew some modifications would be needed. ... show more

I was vey impressed with the quality of this sling and butt stock leather ammo carrier. The combination of leather and suede is beautiful. The stitching is top notch. All the strap studs are brass not plastic! The sling is big enough for a large man and adjustable for smaller sizes. It fit my Henry Big Boy X 357 very well. A little rough, the "leather" cord is cheap and broke when I tried to tighten it down. Easy fix, just used a piece of good leather cord. Overall look is nice, functions as expected. The extra padding pieces make it nice to fit different buttstocks.

This is by far the highest quality leather wrap stock and sling I've purchased . For the price this is a no brainer. 10/10 recommend. The brace pads reduces the kick and impact heavily . And esthetically it great to look at.

I would highly recommend this as a sling buttstock combo for your lever action. The packaging was nice, each piece came in its own little leather bag. The sling mounts were very easy to use and sturdy. The sling itself is very nice, the straps are held in by their own screw mechanisms instead of something cheap like a snap. The ammo (45-70 for my rifle) fit very nicely in the holders. Between the sling and the buttstock cover, it holds an additional 15 rounds over what you have in your rifle. That's the whole box of 20 on my case. The leather work and stitching is definitely quality, and the tie you use to lace it up is also leather, not stranded fabric. It's a great product at a decent price for what it is. 10/10 would recommend. ... show more
