Used this for two bar chairs that we want to professionally re-cover some time later, but this product allowed us to use the chairs for the time being. Leather furniture has become leather veneer these days for anything you buy at big box stores like Costco. Called bonded leather it may contain as little as 10% genuine leather. Over time it delaminates. It peels off in small bits creatings a hideous mess. These chairs have nice pneumatic stands, brushed aluminum arms and frame. So, we like the chairs but the peeling made them unusable. This product allowed me to cover the damage to an acceptable level. It isn't a professional repair or re-covering but certainly acceptable compared to what the chairs had degenerated to. It is easy to apply for large areas like a seat or chair back until you get to a seam or stitching. Corners are difficult and the adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold when folding to create coverage on a corner so I had to use glue in these spots. Overall, I would buy it again for temporary repairs on nice furniture or permanent repairs for stuff the kids use or down in the basement in someone's man cave.

I have a leather covered ottoman that had seen its better days. I didn’t want to throw it away so I started looking for easy solutions. The leather on the ottoman was intact, but peeling. This product did a great job. It’s like a big leather sticker. You just cut it to size and then peel the backing and stick it on. Press it down well. I used a rolling pin, and it looked great! I rated it high for adhesion, but time will tell the test on durability. I was so impressed that I plan to buy more in black to fix the arms of my office chair.

I cleaned the area. I cut a square and put it on a couch that had a few cat scratches. Later on I sat down to watch tv. I found out one of the corners was peeling off. There is adhesive left on it. I am monitoring the other patches I put on. I shows it caught everything that was touching the exposed area with glue, except the material. Overall, It feels right, it was easy to cut and put on. I only recommend for areas that will not be used daily.

This was my third attempt at trying to repair a vinyl couch. This fabric did the trick. The grey matched rather well with the couch and the material has a kind of stretch to it that makes it east to apply. I have dogs so this is really their couch so the nails had ripped the original material. So far it’s been a few months and no issues with the repaired areas. I recommend cutting a larger piece than you think you need to make repairs. I would definitely recommend and buy again.
