I was looking for a storage solution for my knives that would protect the edges and would also be attractive and portable. This knife roll is perfect. Fits even my largest 12-inch Sabatier (17 inches tip to end of handle). In adddition, it is very attractive and appears to be well made. I just purchased recently, so I can't speak to durability, but I don't anticipate any problems.

I was super excited to unwrap this knife case. I have always wanted one of these to store my $100+ knives instead of throwing them into the drawer. I DID not realize how heavy this all-leather case would be. Even with no knives, it's heavy. The good thing is it is also very tough and heavy duty. The exterior of the case doesn't look as smooth as the product photo. It had some scratches that breaks the pattern of the leather. Not a big deal, I don't plan to show this off to other people. I just want to properly store my knives safely from my family. The case also has a slight chemical smell. I don't know if that's from the leather making process because it's not exactly the scent of leather. My wife questioned if it's real leather but after close examination, I think it's real. All 5 of my nice knives fit inside the case with no problems. There are still plenty of room to store more later. I rolled it up tight and locked them in with the two belts. Overall, this is a good protective case. I have a feeling what you actually get won't look as nice as the one in the product picture, if you do, congrats. Just keep in mind that this is large and heavy so make sure this is the size you want.
