  • Grandchild loves it
Cute and colorful, very sturdy without sharp corners. The toast pieces are thick and smooth. The additional accessories are also fun.

  • Cute and perfect size for little hands
Bought this as a gift to my almost 3 years old niece. When she came over to visit, I gave this to her and she and my kids played with it for a good amount of time. The size of the toys is perfect for toddler’s little hands. Safe for them to play with because it doesn’t have any small item that can choke them. The sound is pretty good and not super loud. The side sliding thing that a real toaster has, really works and it’s realistic when it pops. No assembly needed. The 2 slices of bread looks good, with a jar or jam, 2 bacon and an egg. Perfect fun toy for my niece’s “breakfast”!! Highly recommend! ... show more

  • Cute little set, not thrilled with one feature though
This set was cuter than I thought it would be, the lid actually comes off the jam jar which I didn't expect, the pieces themselves are pretty durable in my opinion so far, the bread pieces aren't cheap and don't feel like they'd crack If my kids accidentally stepped on them which I know they will. I like the 1,2,3 detail in the center of the plate as well as the other small pictures on it, the toaster itself talks about the items it comes with, I love the little breakfast talks it gives, asking to spread the jam on the toast, I think it even said something about making an egg sandwich. So it gives my kids cute food ideas which I like. As for it being age appropriate I believe it said 12 months and up, my youngest who I got it for is 18 months old and he doesn't quite seem to get the concept of how to use the toast. To be fair I didn't at first either. Every kid is different though so my kids experience is likely totally different from yours. Like most toasters and toy ones though I'm usually used the Lever pulling the toast down and popping up after a minute. I pulled the Lever down and it made the toast pop up. My partner had to tell me I'm supposed to manually push the toast down myself a-ha.. I can't say I'm too thrilled with that feature if I had to give this item a con. I don't want my son thinking that's how toasters work. ... show more

  • Fun for a 1 year old, Sturdy too
This product seems like decent quality; the plastic is sturdy. The toaster works great and the 1 year old we bought it for loves it! He’s strong enough to push the lever down and open the “jam” container. This has a lot of extra pieces besides the toaster, which makes it more fun! He has a lot of fun with it and the bright colors make it a great choice for a toddler. It was totally assembled and came with batteries. It was a great buy for the price. ... show more

  • Fun Play Food, But Toaster Gets Ignored
The LeapFrog Yum-2-3 Toaster is a cute and interactive toy, but my little one only enjoys playing with the food pieces—the toaster itself doesn’t hold their interest. The pretend food is fun to grasp, stack, and play with, so it still gets some use, just not in the way it was intended. The sounds and buttons on the toaster are a nice touch, but if your child isn’t into push-and-pop toys, they might not care for it. Great for pretend play, but the toaster may not be the highlight. ... show more

  • Great little toy!
The media could not be loaded. My eight month old son loves this little toaster! He loves to play with the toast slices and slap the button that makes them pop up. The toaster teaches counting, shapes and colors. It also has a few songs that it sings. It comes with a plastic knife and fork, plate, bacon slices, egg and jar of grape jelly. The toaster itself is small, but for what you get for the price I still think it's completely worth the buy! I know how hard it can be to find toys that our little ones don't get bored of and I can safely say we've had this toy a few weeks now and my son still finds it entertaining. I would definitely recommend this for any age 6m-toddler as I can imagine the toaster and its accompanying breakfast toys would be a great addition to a toddler play kitchen as well! ... show more
