A consistent shaper
I really like the way it shapes the tip. you might want to have a a coarse tool before this, but I really recommend it, it gives a near perfect round shape, hard tips shape better than soft tips, but the soft ones grind down faster, leather nature. Overall a great shaper!

Owning a cue means you absolutely need one of these.
Anyone who ever shoots pool should have one of these and anybody who owns a cue of their own absolutely needs one of these to go with it. If you haven't used them before, you will be amazed by the results when you finally see what chalk actually does for your game and the entire sport when used effectively with a properly prepared cue tip. You probably want to get the "dime" size if you are good enough to choose professional tapering and tip sizes for your cue, but I would suggest that everyone gets both "dime" and "nickel" sizes because you won't be disappointed in either one.
