I’ve been using this water heater for a bit and honestly, it feels very average—like it works, but nothing about it stands out. Getting started wasn’t super smooth. The instructions exist, but they leave out things you’d actually want to know. There are also quite a few warnings, especially about not keeping it in water too long. What bothered me more is that there’s no auto shut-off if it runs dry or overheats, which doesn’t feel very reassuring from a safety point of view. In terms of performance, it’s just okay. I tried it in half a bucket of hose water outside, and it took a good 10 minutes before I could even feel the water getting warm. It eventually reached a comfortable temperature and stayed there. On the positive side, the size is convenient—easy to store and move around. The build seems decent too, not flimsy, but not something I’d call premium either. The outer cover feels like it will hold up for some time. The thermometer, though, is all over the place. It keeps jumping between readings, so I stopped trusting it pretty quickly. Overall, it feels like a product that’s trying to be portable but isn’t really there. With the power needs and all the limitations, it’s better suited for basic use at home. I wouldn’t rely on it for outdoor use or trips.

Edit: Now moving to one start from two. They sent me a nice email apologizing to me and asking if I would take a replacement and try again. Now they have just wasted my time even more so. The second unit works exactly the same as the first one (see below) It does do its job of heating up the water but they lied, its 1750 watts! My generator is only a 1500 so it wont work for me. The thermometer varies 30 degrees back and fourth and you cant shut it off, have to remove the batteries. I don't recommend this product.

I bought this to turn my cold plunge into a warm plunge in the bitter cold winter months. It works. No problem reaching 110 degrees. I haven't had any issues so far. Follow the directions, be smart about it, and it should be fine.
