  • Drive Cam on a Yamaha FJR1300
This is a review based on the installation and 1 commute to work. In the future, this device will be used for road trips as well. The unit was installed on a 2021 Yamaha FJR 1300. The bullet cameras were easy to install on my bike. I routed the front camera to the cowling centered under the headlight. The rear camera is positioned on the side of the rear tail fairing. The cameras are very discretely placed. The controllers wiring is routed to the tail, under the pillion to a power distribution block. The ACC and B+ wires are each connected to their own circuits. I connected the negative to the negative bus that I installed near the PD. The controller is mounted at the spare threaded hole above the clutch lever. I used a 1" ball connected to the ball receiver which is connected to the mount plate with a 1" ball on that plate. I am able to reposition the device quickly and easily or completely remove the device in less that 2 minutes if I wanted to. The pairing process was simple and as easy as pairing a bluetooth speaker to your phone. Just follow the steps. The inaugural commute was smooth. My helmet has a Cardo Packtalk which I use to stream music from my phone. I turned on the Cardo, paired it to the phone and then started the bike. After the boot up of the controller, everything connected seamlessly and worked as intended. The Google map was on the screen, music was playing in my ear, and it was a beautiful ride to work. I did swap out the micro SD that was shipped with the controller and added a 256 GB micro SD for plenty of video storage. The cameras work well, but at this point, I have only seen the cameras operating while in the garage. I recommend this product for the budget conscious motorcyclist that wants a good value and some money set aside for the next part or accessory that you need. ... show more

  • Missing parts
Received the unit and it looks well made. There was no tire sensors in the box. There's no information on what sensors I can use to replace them. May need to return the item. Update. Was contacted by the seller. They took a little while to reply but after I got in contact with them. They were a pleasure to talk to . They Arranged to send me the parts that I'm missing. Will update again. Get the parts and get the machine installed. Final update. The seller did send me the missing sensors Without issue. Now that I have the machine on my bike it works as it should. The only downside I find is that the screen gets hard to see when it's really bright out. And if you're trying to do video playback on your phone without downloading the video to your phone first, it's really slow stops and loads every 3 seconds but that just might be my phone. The voltmeter is accurate + or- .20 volt tire pressure sensors seem to read about 2 lb lower than what my gauges say I set them at ( I used 5 gauges) but I'm not looking for dead accuracy just to be notified if I have a low tire. Nice little machine. If it holds up well I may buy one from my other bike. ... show more

  • Not bad.. a little brighter would be good though
A little brighter would have been nice. But it isn't the worst. Comes with 3 wire power install.. red power... yellow acc... black ground. I just hooked the yellow in with my radio- rather then running all the way to battery. You get the same.result. I have my power at a switch so can turn it on and.off. Cameras are clear. I do agree with a review about the voltage- it does read a bit low. ... show more

  • better than expected
Installed on a Kawasaki Vulcan and i had to say it was a challenge to installed and that was only kuz i did it myself, im gonna save you time and money with this review, the black cable is negative and the yellow is positive and the red cable is the acc, you can do it your self, however there was a problem for me kuz the monitor wont shut down when turn bike off and since im not very familiar with the electrical part of the bike i installed a separate switch to turn it on, off myself, i did a quick run test and the video came clean, however be very care full where you install the cameras so they dont fell, also dont exposed to the sun light to long kuz it will overheat and enter in a safe mode to protect itself and the screen will turn black on you or very little bright and you will barely can see it, other than that is a pretty good product well design and the last part is the app to download the videos as you please. hope this help at least 1 person ... show more

  • Good unit don’t rely on TPS or Voltage from it though.
The media could not be loaded. TPS & Voltage inaccurate. I put my tires to 37psi is shows as 33. Took sensor off checked inflation and was still at 37. Voltage sensor is off by 0.2-0.5 volts as well giving false readings of a low battery. Giving it 3 stars because being able to keep my phone in my pocket or backpack and use voice to text with touching a contact on here was easy to use with my Sena 20s headset. Cameras are good quality, nice to know my every ride is recorded and the app is fast for downloading the files. The downside is you have to disconnect CarPlay and use an app and reconnect to a certain WiFi signal to view recordings as it is not built in to main system WiFi which is stupid. Has 2 different WiFi ssids it puts out and when you disconnect WiFi it tries to reconnect to the main one when you turn on the device while trying to use the other WiFi for playback of dash camera videos. ... show more

  • Motorcycle dash cam
Just installed and wired up. Unit works in all modes. Connected to my iPhone and Sena helmet unit. Install took about 45-60 minutes. The test will be when I get to ride and check it out in a day or so.

  • Issues after 4 months
The media could not be loaded. Began to have issues after 4 month, continually cycling through start recording, stop recording with camera flickering. I contacted seller but only gotten generic solutions like reformat memory/unplug and replug which I already tried before contacting them.

  • CARPLAY para moto
Instalado en una Honda NX 190, se ve súper bien y funciona todo a la perfección, las cámaras se ven muy bien al igual que el GPS. Muy satisfecho
