I am changing my review to 5 stars. The company reached out and sent me a new power box and my light is back up and working great. My second light is limping along, but I have confidence that when it fully stops working, the company will send me a new power supply for it. I was very pleased with the 2 sets of these lights I ordered for the first 4 months until they stopped working. Since they are LED you can't replace the bulbs and extra lights aren't sold separately. I don't know if it's the lights themselves or the power supply. I thought the first one was a fluke, but 2?!? Either way, I would be hesitant to buy more.

I like the light and the timer - power supply was bogus

After a couple of months, I like this product a lot. However, the power supply bit the dust. Unlike most I have a box of DC power supplies and in replacing the included power supply with one from my junk box I learned some things that might be useful if you encounter the same situation. The only attractive aspect of the old power supply was the blue light that showed correct operation. Since it had become junk but I needed the cord and plug I pulled it apart to see how it was constructed. It carried a rating of 4 amps - While I can't say for sure since I didn't test it when it was working - I think based on it's circuit board, that rating was Ahh, overly optimistic to the point of delusion. I replaced the failed power supply with one that was correctly rated at 2 amps and since it's replacement 3 weeks ago, the grow light has been working fine in all aspects with it's new 2 amp power supply running cool as the underside of your pillow.

These have kept my pepper plants alive through the Winter

As it can take months for pepper plants to sprout, grow, and start producing peppers, I wanted to try and keep my plants alive through the Winter. I brought my plants into the spare bedroom on towels and newspaper, set up these lights and clamped on a three way grow light I had bought for seedlings, and they've continued growing peppers, albeit smaller than when they were able to soak up sunlight in 80-plus degree weather. I also haven't given them any fish emulsion since bringing them indoors, so they may be a little starved for nutrients. But the important thing is that none of my plants have died. They're all green and healthy, though branches that have reached too close to the lights have died. My Reaper plants especially have grown taller, reaching towards the lights, over the Winter months. They produce fruits near the top of the branches while my Cayenne plant mostly grows chillis down near the rim of the planter, so they have a preference for how close the light is, but as I have two Reaper plants and one Cayenne plant sharing the same large planter, I can't really set an ideal height for all of them. My Cayenne plant is just going to duck into the shade for a bit. It'll surely perk up when I get my planter mounted back on my balcony rail as it's often cloudy here. And there are always times when it will be in the shade. This will keep your plants alive, but I'm not sure it could be a permanent solution if you're growing food. It might be adequate for house plants.

Bright but died after 11 months

The grow light is very bright, but very wonky to use. It actually burned my norfolk pine, turning the needles yellow, so I had to put more space between them. But it has entirely revitalized my night blooming cereus. That plant came back from the edge of death and it pushing out new sprouts all over the place. So, just be careful. My main gripe (edit: this is fixed): There is a cord that attached to both heads and limits the distance they can be from each other. The cord comes up the middle and splits in two, then attaches to the right side of one lamp and the left side of the other lamp, rather than coming up through the base of each lamp head to allow full mobility. Additionally, the lamp heads are held in place by little nuts that loosen by themselves. I constantly have to retighten them. So the flexibility of placement is harmed both by the way the cord is attached, and the looseness of the little nuts. The nuts need to be adjusted on both side of the lamp heads for the swivel function, and they have to be adjusted at the base of the lamp to keep it from spinning. Will include photos for reference. Edit: adding a star. Seller reached out and said the cord could be pulled apart. I did this and the two sides parted very easily, giving me all the leeway I needed. They also offered to replace the nuts, but I don't think there is a problem with them, so much as they are difficult to hand tighten, and when you move the lights, they tend to come undone. If you just tighten them and leave them alone, they should stay put. I was struggling to position them properly at first because I didn't want to damage the cord, but the extra length really helped. And I appreciate the seller's willingness to assist! Edit: Knocking off all the stars. I bought this 11 months ago and now it just pulses uselessly. The control buttons do nothing. It just strobes dimly until I unplug it.

Loved this light, but the 12V power supply box just failed and is constantly blinking.

I purchased this grow light system back in January 2025 and have been really happy with how it kept my plants thriving. Unfortunately, the AC/DC power adapter box just failed out of nowhere. The light will no longer turn on. Instead, the indicator lights on the adapter box and the inline timer switch just rapidly flash blue. I did a hardware isolation test and completely unplugged the power block from the grow light fixture, but the power block continues to flash completely on its own while plugged into the wall. The internal capacitor or circuitry inside the box has clearly failed. The light fixture itself is still in great condition, but I cannot use it without a functional power block. Since this happened outside of the standard return window, I am hoping the seller or customer support reads this and can send out a replacement 12V 4A power brick part so I don't have to throw away a perfectly good setup. I will gladly update this review if customer support can help resolve this!

This little baby is a miracle worker!

Two of our accent shrubs were nearly dead due to lack of sunshine (our deck casts too much shade over them). I had almost given up hope. But, and I kid you not, after only 3 days with this light on the highest setting, my little plants had sprouted healthy new growth. If you look at the picture of the plant you can see the old dead leaves with the healthy strong growth in the center. And this light has held up well outside, even though it is an indoor light! It's even been rained on, light rain mind you, and still works! I love this light and highly recommend! All you need is this light, water and maybe a little fertilizer and yoir plants will be golden! Excellent product at an excellent price!
