    • Decent but not really heavy duty
Feels like this organizer should have an additional wall mount point in the middle of it. There are only mounts on the edges and the shelves are fairly long. The middle section is hinged for easy assembly which could be a weak spot and the metal overall is fairly thin. That said it seems sturdy enough when mounted so as long as you stay within the weight limits I'm sure it's fine. Likewise the mount points seems to be at the standard distance between wall studs which is really nice for mounting this. The accessory holders on the side are a little disappointing. The hooks just loosely slot into to a hole and fall out basically anytime it's bumped into. The screwdriver/pliers holder also is not mounted with any screws either so it can be dislodged. I was really surprised when I put this together that there was nothing to permanently attach it. Overall this is a decent tool organizer and shelf. I really like the layout and design of it but it's not perfect as I stated above. It feels to me a little pricy for what you're getting but it does the job as advertised. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Outstanding! The directions were probably one of the best I've ever seen and it was very easy and fast to put together. The two long shelves have enough room for several items on each. Every aspect of it is meant to help hold your tools. This was so fun spending a couple of hours getting my tool shed more organized and filling this this up and worth every penny. It's sturdy, I'm not worried about the weight it's carrying, I'm glad it had the slip down screw holders for attaching to the 2x4s i put up to hold it, it made it much easier to predrill and then let it rest and do the other side leveled. I hope my images convey how much it holds, its value is on par with others I've seen, this one is a solid unit. ... show more

    • Double the size of my current drill holder
I have had a 4-slot drill holder for some time but still had 3 additional tools that have been sitting off to the side and I wanted them also mounted. The option was to either buy another 4-slot or go with something bigger. I found this rack and while it’s not 8 slots, I only have 7 tools anyway. The height in the lower rack is a few inches taller than my current rack so that is also helpful. This one also has more side-storage options which is nice even thought all of my smaller tools are in chests. I notice some people are complaining about the weight-bearing capacity of the shelves. I think it’s safe to assume that the main purpose of this rack is for your drills, impact wrenches, oscillating tools, etc., not heavy storage. The wire mesh is light, yes, the weight is supported by the frame. I don’t think the rack was intended for extra heavy item to go on the shelves. If you need extra support, throw a piece of particleboard or MDF on it. In my case, I have all batteries and adapters on the two shelves and I have no concern that they will fall.
