    • sturdy but lightweight stand, easy to put together
Very easy to put together (I did it in less than 15 minutes alone ). This was a gift for my daughter and she loves it. When she laid down in it, she loved that it turned into a bit of a cacoon, but she could also have it open. The bag seems sturdy, but I have not placed the hammock in it yet (the hammock stand itself is surprisingly light weight). The directions were easy to follow. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars are because for one, the fabric has a smell, but I'm sure it will fade since it's outside. Second reason is that when I opened the box, while it was still in the plastic wrap, the end of the bars where the hammock hangs had rust on it as well as on the plastic it was wrapped it. I decided to try cleaning the rust off before I sent it back and the rust easily came off and showed no rust on the metal remained, so we're keeping it. I would also recommend it to friends to buy in spite of the 2 (minor) issues I mentioned. ... show more

On particularly nice days my husband has remarked that he wishes we had a hammock, but we live in an apartment. I decided to order this for our balcony as a birthday present. We love this. It supports both of us so far. We've also discoverd on accident that it's great for my anxiety as well. You can sit in it like a swing and just rock while looking at the sky, very relaxing. My only complaint is that it came in a box that clearly has the product name on the outside. So my husband went home for lunch the day it was delivered, two weeks before his birthday, and texted me asking why I bought a hammock. ... show more

Love it! It does not take up as much space as a regular hammock stand would and is light enough that I can move it on my own to follow the shade. I feel pretty swallowed up by the hammock itself- I don't like that, but my daughter does, and it is a double so it is exactly as described. Don't plan on actually having 2 people in the hammock, though, as you'll just end up on top of one another. Unless that is what you want ;) ... show more

Nice hammock esp for the price. I searched a lot of hammocks and read a lot of reviews and even though this one had mixed reviews I've had it for over a month now and love it! It does come up kind of high on the sides but I found just using a lrg binder clip once in awhile if I want it lowered does the job otherwise it's really not that big of a deal. I prefer a hammock with wood support across top and bottom where the ropes are threaded through the canvas. I will try to slip a Dowell where the ropes are threaded. Otherwise, good combo for the price and I do recommend it.

Love this hammock!! It was very easy to assemble (by myself; fewer than 10 minutes total), and looks fantastic. I was worried that the hammock itself was too small and wouldn't fit on the stand, and that the wrong size was sent, but they have a lot of give. Perfect for both my son and myself.
