I was skeptical that the tension would hold well. I ordered these once before, several weeks ago, and 2 of us had a bit of a challenge figuring them out. But, we got them up and they are really nice and stay put. So, I ordered them again. This time I installed them by myself and it only took about 5 minutes! SO EASY. They look really nice. I love the ease of which they work. You gently pull them down to close, then gently push up to open. No string to fray or break. My one and only issue is, if you have a really tall window, and you are not tall, you have to stand on a stool to get them all the way up (I have to do that). It’s ok, just mildly inconvenient. Overall, I’m so happy with these and the tension. My house is older and CBS construction and I did not want to drill, so these solved my problem with the tension. All equipment is included, which is great. I am so happy with these.

Great blinds! I purchased five of these in various sizes to replace 30 year-old blinds at my parent’s home. They were super easy to install. I did not have to install them per the instructions. Fortunately, the existing blinds that I replaced had a bracket that they slid right into. They fit perfectly. My parents love the fact that they are cordless. The price was also great! It beats having a custom blind company come out. The blinds look great. I will be ordering more for the other rooms in the house with the outdated and aged blinds.

Utter crap. The so-called "room darkening" shade aspect that fits behind the blind portion is a joke. There is NO WAY this black accordion pleated shade can be pulled up and out of the way. Therefore it always remains down! The plastic blinds themselves are SO thin and cheap that they utterly do not block any light. The entire concept is crap and for the amount paid, I feel totally ripped off. The blackout shade will be ruined in no-time flat and I predict this will look like a tenement window from the outside of the house as well. Save your money and buy something better.
